Welcome Baby Co.

I can't reccomend Welcome Baby Co. enough! Our instructor, Jenn, made the class very interesting and informative for new parents. Jenn is very well spoken and the information presented was really well put together. My husband and I learnt so much and we both feel more prepared heading into labour and the first few days after. I will miss attending this class and it is nice to know that there are other services available though WB Co. that may come in handy.

We were lucky to have Cayla step in at the last minute for our baby's birth when our original doula was already attending another one. Cayla was extremely helpful and very caring during both the the birth and our postpartum visits. She also did some photos for us which we will treasure forever. Thank you, Cayla!Cayla introduced us to our Lactation Consultant, Natalie, who has been such an incredible part of our breastfeeding journey. Natalie has so much knowledge to share and she genuinely cares about her clients (both the moms and babies). Thank you, Natalie! I've really appreciated all your support!

My husband and I did in-person prenatal classes with Jenn and would recommend these classes to everyone! Jenn’s comprehensive knowledge and experience was very reassuring and helped us prepare for labour, delivery and newborn care. As first time parents these classes definitely answered a lot of questions, helped ease worries and gave us tools to use during every stage.

My wife and I took the 7 week baby prep classes with Jenn and it was all we imagined and more as first time parents! We looked forward to the classes every week because Jenn was such a treat to learn from! She’s funny, interesting, well spoken and full of useful information. Her class outline and structure was super clear, concise and full of tips without it being overwhelming. Every week was very impactful and we took so much from it! In fact when the classes were finished we missed attending them!We surely would not have felt as confident and supported without the help of Welcome Baby Co. We used their amazing doula services, lactation consultant and prenatal classes and we’re so glad we did!We feel so knowledgeable and empowered and ready to now bring a baby into this world and would highly recommend Welcome Baby Co. A huge bonus is getting to meet other expecting parents at the same stage, and Jenn gets people connecting in her classes without it being awkward. Hands down the best help we received. We took the prenatal course, had Cayla as our birth and postpartum doula, and had Natalie as our Lactation consultant.The prenatal course was amazing and really prepared us with the information we needed. As a introvert I loved going to the classes every week and now all the parents in the group have a chat going that we can go to for advice. The class gave my husband and I all the information we needed to make informed decisions and have the important conversations before our birth.Natalie has been amazing at helping us get to our breastfeeding goals. She's amazing and I cannot rave enough.Cayla has been like our fairy godmother. Every challenge she was there with the most efficient and caring answer. Wither it was who we should talk to about our concerns or the best items to have on our baby registry. She was the best help and worth her weight in gold. My husband and I would have had a much more challenging pregnancy, labour, delivery, and postpartum without her and honestly she made some of the hardest days feel like a breeze.

Natalie was absolutely wonderful, and I probably would’ve given up on my breastfeeding journey a long time ago had I not been given the advice from her that I did. The consultation was quite pleasant and I was given lots of notes and tips to bring home. She’s even been able to answer any questions or concerns I’ve had afterwards, and has been a fantastic cheerleader in the almost 6 months I’ve been breastfeeding so far. Couldn’t recommend her enough!

Cayla is an outstanding doula, we are more than lucky to have had her care and support during the most important day of our lives! My husband and I will reflect back on our delivery for years with such a fondness for Cayla, she was an essential part of our experience. She held my hand from the car to the labour & delivery unit, counted down my contractions, calmed the atmosphere in the birthing room to something I will never forget (turned off the lights and projected the northern lights on the ceiling!) and stayed much longer than I expected (as a first time mom, my birth was a long one!) She also snapped some photos that I will treasure forever! She came to our home a few times prior to delivery and since our birth has been to our home a couple times more. Shes assisted us with breastfeeding, given tips on setting up the nursery, sleep training and more!She made me feel strong and supported when I felt weak, she was in my corner no matter what! Cayla never left my side and most importantly, I never once felt judged by choosing a hospital birth or even an epidural. She is truly a gift of a human and I can’t recommend her more!

While I typically really hate the word “empowerment” because I think it’s cliche, there really isn’t a better word to describe the feeling you get after Welcome Baby Co’s prenatal education class. I went into it feeling unfamiliar with the labour and delivery process, which lead to me being very unsure about what I could advocate for for myself in my care, what I felt confident I could handle, or where my personal preferences laid with all of the decisions that come up. I left feeling very sure of my birth preferences, but also with a sense of self confidence that I could change my “plan” on the fly as different needs arise throughout the process. I am actually genuinely excited, not nervous to delivery this baby. Jenn presented the information in an objective, easy to digest, easy to remember, and really fun way. I never felt disengaged during classes and left every single one with pearl’s of information that I know will help in my upcoming childbirth and child caring experience. They really do go above and beyond their call of duty as well, ensuring every class member is feeling confident. I so appreciate the Welcome Baby Co’s team, their approach + commitment to new parents. If you have the chance to take their prenatal education class, please trust me when I say it is WELL worth it.

My boyfriend and I just finished our 7 week course with Welcome Baby Co and i would HIGHLY recommend them to all new/expecting parents. Jenn is fun, friendly, informative and helps to make this new experience a little less scary. We started the course with a few questions but thought we knew most things, but wasnt long before we had even more questions and realized there was a lot more to learn. After the 7 weeks were done we feel a lot more comfortable and confident in our preparation for our baby girls arrival!!
