Fort Road Bottle Depot
This is definitely the cleanest and friendliest bottle depot. The only problem is they have 4 automated bottle sorters and they don’t use them. I’m here right now with 3 people being taken care of and 4 of us in line. Not one automated sorter is being used. It was like this the last few times I was here. (I collect bottles for donations for the Paws Up Program - so I’m here frequently) I realize that there can be an issue with crushed cans, etc going through the sorter - but they need to figure out a way to pre-sort and then use the auto sorters. It would make things much quicker. Having said all that, I’ll still be using this depot.

Amazingly clean and well taken care of. The attendants are friendly and ask how you are (is it sad I’ve never had someone ask me that at the depot?) but unfortunately very slow at counting. It would help if there were more tills open and if they could have more bins to replace instead of unloading throughout the process. There was a lineup out the door for people waiting and I waited about 20min for my turn which I was next when I first came in.

I called these people to pick up the recycle from my house. I asked them to write my address and the lady on the phone said, I am eating right now and I do not have time to write your address. She was so rude in saying this to me.

Waiting on what time they will pickup your empties as I was told they will call with the time and waiting most of the day with no call and time just very poor communication with the public not the way to do business with the people and I suggest going to manning bottle depot they treat you awesome and very respectful and friendly

As we all know it never adds up at the bottle depot. While I was emptying out garbage bags I noticed that they switched container sizes, when you’re watching the count to $.10 bottles when you’re not watching they count to $.30 bottles
