I had carpet installed on my upper level and both sets of stairs. It is the worst installation job we've ever had done to our home. I do not recommend getting Eddie to install. As time goes by we find more issues. Save yourself the grief, go elsewhere!

After phoning a number of retailers in Toronto .. no one could supply us with the Beaulieu flooring we needed to complete a job in Toronto.The owner of the Carpet Store kindly sold us one box from his supply.He was very helpful, informative and kind!! Had an amazing experience at The Carpet Store from start to finish.Mike Smith was our salesperson. He did a fantastic job in helping us choose a carpet that was right for our home. Mike is very knowledgeable, friendly and great at communication.We were offered a very reasonable price for purchase and installation. Their installers did a fantastic job and worked around our schedule. I had recently painted the entire area prior to the carpet being installed and the installers were very mindful of that.Overall, We're very pleased with the end result and would recommend this store to anyone looking at competitive pricing and great workmanship. 5/5*

We've dealt with The Carpet Store for many years and have always been happy with the service, quality and pricing. Our latest project was a basement renovation after a flood. Alex took the time to go through the flooring options to ensure we had a good understanding of our choices, and we're really pleased with the results. The combination of the underlay and plank flooring was very easy to install and looks great. We also appreciate the extra effort Alex made in sending us product links & an installation video and in drawing a layout of the flooring according to the basement measurements. Past projects have included carpeting and beautiful backsplash tiles that really made the difference in our kitchen.

We ordered new carpet for our upstairs hall & stairs as well as our full basement & stairs. The Customer Service we received at the store was great and we were very happy with everything… until the install.The day before the install, I called the store to ask if the installers were vaccinated and would wear masks in our home because Omicron was surging, and I have health issues. They said yes and assured me they would always wear their masks.When the installers arrived the next morning, my husband and I were wearing masks, but the installers weren’t. They said “Oh, do you want us to wear masks?” I said, “Yes, please”. One installer was annoyed and said he didn’t think he had a mask with him. The other found one in his truck.When they came in, they asked what the job was and were confused that there were 2 separate areas. They said they only brought carpet for the basement, not the upstairs. When I called the store, a sales rep told me the carpet was all there, it just wasn’t picked up.When the installers started ripping up the old carpet, they noticed it was glued down. This made them very angry and one of the installers kept swearing about it all morning, then asked my husband if he had any tools he could use to rip it up. I would figure they had their own tools (?)The entire time they were here, they didn’t wear their masks and I felt uncomfortable having to keep asking them, so I gave up.As for cleanliness, they left our house a MESS. They left carpet, carpet fibres, staples, and sharp objects all over the floors. They didn’t sweep or make any attempt to tidy up. They left their dirty coffee cups in our windowsills, and they used my husband’s fitness equipment as a place to hang the Covid masks they wouldn’t wear! Disgusting.I also had the walls freshly painted before the new carpet was being installed and they banged up my walls in about 20 places. Chunks out of my baseboards and huge dragging marks all the way down the stairs. I told them that I now have to pay for painter's to come back and fix everything and the install manager said Yea

Mike was our sales person. He really knows his product and has a design background so he was great in helping me narrow down my decisions.We had carpet installed in our three bedrooms by Eddie. He was a really nice man and did a quick job of installing. He took a few extra minutes to nail down our sub floor because he noticed it was noisy. Five years later it's still looking great.We also had our kitchen backsplash, shower and heated floor tiles in both bathrooms and hardwood on our main level installed. The installer was really nice and on time and did quality work. He took the time to ask questions like the direction of tile, etc.

Wonderful experience with the team at Carpet Store. The installers did a great job (LVP) and everything was clean and well done. The area rug we purchased matches perfectly. Thanks for making the reno experience almost painless.
