Green Lake Provincial Park
So nice I stayed an extra night.visited here in June 2023 on a weekend and was able to find open spots. The waterfront is very accessible for swimming. Lots of wildlife. Good privacy at many sites. This is a great campground for children so there was some noise during the daytime which is to be expected. Deer nonchalantly wandered through my site while I was eating dinner.Washrooms: OuthousesShowers: NoElectrical: NoReception: Full ReceptionBugs: 3/10. Not bad at all surprisingly.Bears: YesFirewood: delivered by park host. $10/Bundle. 1.5 bundles lasted the evening.

As you arrive at 70 Mile House driving north on hwy 97 you will see a sign for Green Lake to the right. This is not the official turn off for the provincial park, which is another 2km north. However, it will get you there without any problem. The lake is 9km from the hwy but you will drive a few more km to get to the campground. Make sure you know which side of the lake your campground is on as the road does not circle the lake and you will have to double back if you pick the wrong side. We have camped at both campgrounds and enjoyed them both. Recently we camped at Sunset View which is 12km down the south/east side of the lake. Nice paved two-lane road in good condition. The campground is fairly level, no services, nice beach, nice playground, good shade and quiet. There is a boat launch just outside the campground.

It's so funny how when you're out on the water and you see the beautiful color, you can't help but say well

Absolutely beautiful area! Lots of camping, cabins, and RV spots to choose from, and of course the Flying U guest ranch!

Great place to stay. Sunset view has a group camp with a big outdoor covered barbecue pit. Our group does a pancake breakfast as there are tables to sit on. The playground is great and the kids love it almost as much as the lake and the beach. Its dog friendly as long as they are on a leash.

One of the best campsites I've been to! Practically no mosquitoes as an added bonus! The beach is narrow but the lake is crystal clear with no mud or weeds growing in the shallow areas. The camp sites are very clean with plenty of greenery around each site to make it feel private. Although there are no flush toilets, the pit toilets are cleaner than some campsites I've been to with flush facilities! Park rangers are very friendly and came around twice a day. Everyone at the campground was very respectful about noise and everyone seemed like seasoned campers. I would definitely go back here next year.

Been going to this beach my entire life. Multiple people came down with dogs off leash all though it is clearly marked not alowed at the entrance. Very disappointed to see such poor behavior from grown adults. The water was still nice as ever but, it's dirtier then it use to be. I assume due to fires in the sand and dog feces on the beach. Disappointed in human behavior.

Dog friendly but must be on leash in campsite. No dogs on beaches or playgrounds. No off-road vehicles are allowed. Restrooms are outhouses with no running water. However, they are clean and well kept. Beautiful day use picnic area. Group sites available. Playground for campers kids is very nice. There are no charge stations for electric vehicles.
