Fort McNab National Historic Site
Great place to visit and go for a morning hike! Only accessible by boat but if you can get yourself over there definitely worth it! (Lots of wild delicious blueberries along the path, and some raspberry bushes a little further in from the path.

Fort McNab National Historic Site
This fort was used during several major conflicts dating back to the 1800's and up to the Second World War. Lots of areas are open and ready to explore, although some graffiti is present since the area is unsupervised. Highly recommend a good flashlight for exploring some of the deeper areas to get a better appreciation of your surroundings and for safety.

This place is a historic preservation site and is worth checking out has alot of fun things to see we found it quite interesting to walk around and the history behind this place is very educational The scenery is breathtaking to see how things were done way back in the day was quite an experience for me and my wife would recommend this place to anyone looking to get into The history of what was going on during the war and how this military strong hold protected The East coast of Canada it's a must see

This was a great excursion right in the middle of the harbour. Doing the guided tour I clocked more than 11 kms so wear good shoes!

Really cool spot to explore. Unlike point pleasant. You are able to explore the buildings as they haven't sealed most of them. I believe the only access to get there is by boat

Hidden gem. Everyone should write Parks Canada and ns Dept of natural resources encouraging them to improve access to mcnabs and leverage this phenomenal eco tourism asset.

Awesome island. 4 hour hike from our starting point to end point. Lots to see. Beautiful views. Need lots of water to drink. Plenty of bug spray. Pretty nice beach. Enjoy my visit.
