The firm issued a clearance letter forthe property stating that all asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) had been removed. It then had its workers remove drywall and othermaterials from the interior. WorkSafeBC’s inspection of the property found vinyl sheet flooring still intact in the house. The hazardousmaterials survey for the house identified this flooring as containing asbestos. The firm started demolition activities without ensuringthat hazardous materials were safely removed first and that their removal was confirmed in writing by a qualified person. These wererepeated violations

Absolutely unprofessional business. He told me that there is a work stop and that it will take an extra $3,500 to remove it. This was obviously a lie as I inquired from Work Safe BC and they said no such thing happened. H&I said until he gets the money I can’t give the clearance letter. His language and behaviour is extremely inappropriate as well. Do yourself a favour and take your business somewhere else otherwise you’ll be scammed of thousands of dollars.
