My family had dinner there a few nights ago for the first time. The food & service was amazing. Our waiter, Joerg, was so great with our daughter and went out of his way to make special ice cream for her. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

If you want to find a hidden gem, this is the place. It is a bit out of the way, but so worth it. The room we had was cozy, the view beautiful. They have a walking trail, we didn't get to experience it for it had rained all weekend - hoping to walk them next time. The owner and staff are friendly and inviting. The food, very delicious. This was the first time we ever stayed at an Inn, and it went beyond what we could of expected or wanted. We had a room that didn't have a TV, and it was great. We played games that they had available for use, even books. There was tea, fruit, sweets available in the dining area at all times. We cannot wait to go back again.

Recently had the delightful experience of celebrating the one year anniversary with Barbara, Jorge and the Edelweiss team. What a celebration! A truly wonderful evening was enjoyed by everyone. Thank you Barbara and Jorge for being such wonderful hosts and for opening your wonderful Inn and restaurant.

Absolute hidden gem!We found this place by pure coincidence, and are quite happy we did!We checked in at 4:00 and were greeted warmly, and made to feel right at home.Our room was amazing! Having traveled to Germany/Austria more than a few times, we were delighted at the European feel offered at Edelweiss Inn!Double doors lead to a private balcony with views of the Bay of Fundy. Chairs were provided, so we were able to relax in the cool of the evening.The Inn was recently renovated, and so everything is brand new and spotlessly clean! The room was nicely appointed with alpine-esque furniture, wood floors, and nice linens.We were provided ample towels and toiletries. Our bathroom was a nice size, too!There is also a small refrigerator and teapot for boiling water . . . A gift to tea drinkers that frequently suffer from the tast of coffee from the one cups."On the first floor is the restaurant and bakery! Breakfast is included in our room price

My husband and I recently stayed for two nights at the inn! It is so incredibly peaceful. We had a room facing the back property and it was very relaxing, we even napped during the day with the door open and it was so quiet! Barbara is the perfect balance of being available but also giving guests their space although we had some really great conversations with her and enjoyed learning the history and background of her family and the Inn, it is quite a story! We also ate at the restaurant and Jorg is an amazing chef - we had the schnitzel and the black forest cake, both we would recommend! The breakfast provided was also delicious with a hot dish, yogurt, granola etc and everyone who works there is so lovely! We cannot wait to return and experience more of the inn and quaint nearby towns and of course the food! Thanks for everything!

We ended up staying for 10 nights instead of the initial 4-night booking as we had to adjust our trip due to wildfires in different areas of NS. We stayed in Room 1, which gave us the perfect amount of space to fully unpack as well as relax after our outings. The room was very clean, well appointed & comfortable. The nights were quiet for a good sleep.Every morning, there was a hot breakfast dish and several other items to round out a delicious, healthy meal, which held us over until supper.Barbara is a wonderful, thoughtful host, who cares about her guests’ comfort and experience. She gave us many good suggestions for day trips. The staff are also all very nice and thoughtful. They were always busy keeping the inn very clean. Thank you Barbara for a great stay at your charming inn.We ate several times at the on-site restaurant, which we’ll review separately.Thank-you, Barbara.Lorraine & Karim.

How had I not heard of this place before?? 10/10, would strongly recommend. The property is beautiful, even on a dreary winter day. The restaurant is so cozy and welcoming especially in this Christmas season, they had Christmas music and a market with a local artist, what beautiful art! The service was absolutely incredible, one of a kind. One waitress had the most infectious smile to light up a room, they were all so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and the portions generous. Probably my new favorite spot in the valley, great for German food such as Schnitzel. Worth a visit! ☺️

Having lived in the area previously we decided to take a trip down memory lane. We stayed at Edelweiss Inn and it was excellent. Attention was paid to every detail. The breakfast was delicious, our room was perfect and Barbara the owner was so warm and gracious. We loved it and will be back!

We felt spoiled from the minute we arrived until the minute we left. Beautiful location - easy directions to follow with instructions on how to get the room key and find the room. Super friendly and welcoming staff. Room was exactly as described with many little details we didn't expect that really enhanced the experience. Decks are amazing - both the large common deck, and the balcony off the room. Food was delicious, service was superb. Breakfast was out of this world delicious with everything freshly made and more than we could possibly eat. 5 Stars from us. Exceeded expectations and highly recommend.

Such a beautiful, quaint European Inn with super friendly staff and beautifully clean rooms. The restaurant downstairs has an amazing Chef who catered to our every needs. Barbara, staff, and volunteers were so welcoming and made us feel at home. We highly recommend Edelweiss for anyones stay within the Valley! We will miss your beautiful conversations and company.
