The staff here are great. Always friendly, responsive. They check my order twice. That's important cos I always ask for custom toppings\add- ons.One thing, I honestly think that the whole block there at Main & Terminal has some very stressed people passing through. Relatively permanent security, visible, could improve business and sense of safety for customers.Today, it shocked me and the person taking my order when a man outside shouted incredibly loudly and angrily then threw his cup of pop against the window right where I stood. It's not the first time a man has thrown a bottle or cup at me this year, it has to do with homophobic culture being on the intensifying angry run from justice, but it literally makes me think twice about walking to get a burger as often at my favourite A&W location. This incident occurred in broad daylight. It's weird to be a target of propaganda and hatred just for wanting a burger in public. I voted 3 for atmosphere."I fully recommend A&W and this location is convenient."

The staff here are wonderful. Really lovely people, especially considering the wide variety of personalities they have to address on an regular basis. Poutine is the best way to eat A&W fries.

The worst A&W I have ever been to. Rude workers. My order was wrong. It's a loud and chaotic mess. Nobody should ever come here. Stay far away. They make the Tim Hortons beside it look good. And that's saying something. Absolutely disgusting.

This may be the rudest fast food/restaurant I've ever been. I walked in and ordered three double buddies with chesse and a medium diet coke. While waiting for my order, one of the co-workers accused me of recording them. I was not even facing the counter, nor was my phone in that direction. My phone was actually pointed to down to the floor. The co-worker then proceeded to be convinced I was recording her and said she was going to call security if I didn't stop. I agian said I'm texting, and my cell is not pointing in your kitchen or to any A&W member. She then asked to see my phone to prove I wasn't. I showed them my screen with my text messages to my girlfriend. Still not convinced that I wasn't recording, she said I need to apologize or I'm not going to receive my order. I simply asked for my money back and got a no. I walked out empty-handed. Never again, well, I return, not after this.

It's the worst place I have ever been to... the filth was beyond acceptable. There were cigarette butts all over the floor, black floors and walls, garbage can look like it hadn't been wiped down in months.. and to top it off, I paid for my order with cash, she gives me cash back and proceeded to make my food with her bare hands without washing them first!? Oh, and to charge me for a take out bag. Insane. Someone is going to get extremely sick..

If you are interested to try the poutine go ahead it's the best of all fast food restaurant. Service is quick and they actually smile while serving you. A++ go ahead and splurge its worth it"

Place is like a cafeteria in a prison...hot filthy and not very clean...nowhere to sit. Not impressed....if you're fixing it...get it done. There's no reason to Not Clean it up and make a little welcoming...

I'm leaving this review simply because I had just had a rough day at work and came here after my shift at 12am and the employee who took my order was just so friendly and both her and the other employee were so efficient despite it being busy. The staff here are always so nice to me even though this location is more challenging to work at than most a&ws

We place a large order from this location for our sales team every week! The staff at this location are AMAZING!! And they always get our order right!!
