Where to begin, I set off for a haircut at Sunshine and Co with Sonya and ended up transformed not only physically but emotionally. I felt like I was catching up with an old friend I hadn't seen in years. To finish this amazing experience when I looked at Sonya's finished look for me I saw the reflection of a younger version of my mom that I had lost 25 years ago.Sonya you are a true gem someone who genuine shines through out.I want to say thank you for being such a great human.

My cousin recommended me to Sonya as I am from out of town. I’m so sad I can’t bring her to my hometown so she can be my regular stylist! Sonya was amazing very detailed asked many questions on how I would like my hair, friendly, very clean. I’ve had my hair ruined many times, she really showed her skills and I walked out extremely happy.

I've been going to Sonya for many years now and shes given me so many beautiful haircuts and styles. Her and her co founder are beautiful people who are extremely friendly. They have a wide range of clients from older men to young women. I even had her do my grad hair which turned out amazing. I highly recommend coming here despite it being a little out of the way. The distance is completely worth it.

Wow. Where do I begin.. I have never been more happy with not just the haircut but the entire experience of getting a haircut from Sonya. To be honest, I never even knew it was possible to love your hair. I despise going to get my haircut- I never know how to ask for what I want and have difficulty advocating for it during the cut. Sonya knew exactly what to do to make me feel comfortable, she gave me a haircut that I never would have asked for but one that makes me feel beautiful, works with my lifestyle and has me looking in the mirror constantly to admire it. Sonya did that by taking the time to ask what I needed, what I didnt like and what my dream with my hair was. She worked with every cowlick I have to give me something effortless, if I wasnt watching her cut my hair I would swear it was magic. To be completely honest... I can't tell you for sure that it wasn't magic. Even though she gave me a cut that will grow with me I can't wait for my next haircut with her. This may sounds silly to whoever is reading this but I can truly say my experience and cut with Sonya was life changing. My mom had to get a haircut from her after hearing about my experience and she'd be writing a similar review. Sonya if you are reading this please know how extremely grateful I am for this gift. As I told you, many people can go their whole life searching for their person" who can wield scissors and a razor the way that you do and I feel lucky to have gotten a haircut from you."

Sonya is the sweetest most kind hairdresser ever. When I go in and show her what I want done on my hair we find a great solution that makes my hair beautiful and keeps it healthy. I love how she explains what shes doing and the science behind it! Thanks for the fabulous highlights!

This salon is fun and professional. Every time I visit there is changing decor which keeps it fresh and on trend. Sonja is a wonderful stylist who is able to predict hair trends and ensure that your hair is always on point. She has coloured my hair blond, dark brown, red,ombré, balayage, highlights, money piece and likely a few other colours and techniques! My hair always looks amazing and best of all, I always leaving feeling refreshed and good about myself. Her personality is so fun and warm. I would defiantly recommend this salon to anyone who asks!
