The food was good and the staff was friendly

We had a fantastic time.The buffet was done well - one at 11:30 and another at 12:30, both in different areas of the reception hall, which helps with crowding.The food itself was very fresh and delicious - classic cabane à sucre meal. The tables, chairs, high chairs are all very clean and the wait staff are always there to clean up quickly. The buffet bar is always full and again, very clean.The kids had so much fun, a bit of a long wait for the face painting but they couldn’t have been happier with the result.The tire sur neige was great also, but we did not get to see anyone pour the syrup on the snow which is always a fun experience to see.The tractor ride was great for the kids!Overall we had a great experience! Would have liked to see animals and experience a bit more of how the syrup is made, etc, but it really was a fun day for our family. I would recommend!

Food was delicious and staff were very helpful and friendly

Yes you have to wait in line for the buffet but the food is very good, especially for those with a good appetite. I was not expecting this good. Very reasonably priced considering my experiences at many many other sugar shacks. And they serve bacon which many sugar shacks have stopped doing. No it’s not a bring your own wine; I don’t know why people are saying that it is. It’s a very commercialized SS, that’s the the only negative side. If you don’t like the water, get a pitcher of beer.

I’ve often come during sugar season, and it’s always a fantastic experience with delicious food.My husband and I had our wedding here June 4 and couldn’t have chosen a better spot. The hall was beautiful, the food was incredible. All the guests were overly happy with everything, and so were we.Joanie was professional, and so friendly! She was great to work with and made sure that we were to have a great evening.The staff the night of provided wonderful service, and our bartender Christina was awesome.There’s so many great spots for pictures! A nice fountain, lots of trees and greenery, and huge fields! A cute forest path to walk by a creek as well.We are extremely happy with our choice of venue! A big thank you to the whole team⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our first time to a Cabane a Sucre, it was nice, but it ended pretty fast and maybe a little expensive for the type of food and variety they serve.

I just recently got married on October 1st, I used Cabane Besner as our caterer and we couldn't have been happier with them! The food was fantastic we got the butternut squash soup, beef tenderloin, quarter chicken with seasonal veg and stuffed potato. We received so many compliments about how delicious it was and it was very fresh, cooked right on site.I dealt with Joanie for all the planning, she was very easy to deal with and she made the process very simple.Even though I am completely English there was never a language barrier and we worked together well!The servers were professional and friendly to our guests as well, everything came out on time.I highly recommend their services!Thank you so much for making it easy for us and giving our guests an amazing culinary experience! MERCI!!

Don't believe the hype about this place.First off the food is horrible, second of all you have to wait in line like you're at a school cafeteria, third of all the water tastes like pool water. On top of all of that they close at 8 on a Friday and it's smells like moldy mushrooms in there. Honnestly it would cost less to cook a sugar shack type meal at your home. Avoid at all cost!

Clean, very welcoming and friendly staff, good food and a wonderful family time

Great experience to enjoy in the Sugar Shack. Really nice place to have breakfast with friends and family, and try the food cooked with sirop d'érable. You must have the maple sugar pie.
