Harper Mountain Ski and Snowboard

My first time here and the kids first time skiing. I found this place on Google, and the positive reviews do not do this place enough justice. I've been to a handful of ski resorts and skiing locations, but this was one of my best experiences. To start, the staff here were all extremely friendly and accomodating from fitting to tickets to the restaurant. The staff on the lifts were also very helpful with the kids, especially because they were first timers on the slope. The instructor, Cameron, was awesome. Shout out to him as he approaches his 50th year of teaching! The other main reason why we'd come back to Harper was the lack of lines. Whether it was the tow bar or T Bar lifts, there was virtually no wait time which made it that much more fun for everyone. One word of advice for visitors not accustomed to driving on cold or snowy conditions, make sure to check the weather report and bring chains. It snowed the second day, so we had to pull over on the side of the mountain to put on chains. Unfortunately, we had to cut our trip early due to an injury, but we may make this an annual thing.

Cool and fun small hill but holy hell $80 for a family of 4 to go tubing for 2 hours! You’d think for a small hill they’d be more budget friendly especially considering other hills close to Kamloops

Wow! This hill is a hidden gem. The snow was great, cute little mountain with the home-town" cozy feel. For it's size they have so much fun stuff to do... night skiing

Great COVID safety practices in place. What a great mountain with lots of options offered. Staff was super friendly and patient. The runs are well set up and everyone on this mountain has fun! Unpretentious and perfect for all levels! I never want to leave! I found my happy place ❤️

I bought the tickets but my snowboard was not up to the par so I had visit another day. Staff were very kind and helpful, and they waived off the fee for the next day.

A Hidden Gem of Kamloops, must visit if you're into skiing/snowboarding or just want to check out the hill and perhaps do some tubing with the Kids.The only Night Skiing / Snowboarding available in the area and it's a blast with a few friends.Don't forget to stop in at the lodge after riding to warm up and have some drinks and food near the fireplace.Close to town, friendly local vibe and all around great family fun.

My son is learning to ski and instructors have been so kind and patient. He absolutely loves skiing now, and I believe the instructors have inspired his enthusiasm. The ski shop employees are always personable and helpful. The prices are very reasonable as well. This is a great place for all levels and families.We will keep coming back.

Wanted to give a huge shout out to the staff at Harper, we had a great day skiing as usual out there today & we’re ending the day when we locked our keys in our car, Brittney at the gear shop offered to call and use her BCAA to have a tow truck come out and unlock it for us. This was BEYOND our expectations and extremely kind of her. We then waited around after hours until 6pm for the company to come out, I didn’t grab the 2 gentleman’s names & the lady at the concession desk, but we felt right at home, even after they were closed. They blew us away with their generosity and kindness in the whole situation.

I haven't been to Harper since I was little and it was so amazing going back! Everything as I remembered it, amazingly friendly staff, good food, great skiing/boarding!
