Muriel Lake
This lake is a natural basin that fluctuates with precipitation level. A great place for camping, water sports, off-roading and wildlife watching (such as the annual fish migration or the bird sanctuary). A flock of pelicans lives at this lake in the summer, as well as a species of heron. This lake is also great for swimming, and non-motorized watercraft use due to the calm waters, especially in the morning and evening. This lake has an OHV trail that circles almost the entire lake. This is a beautiful trail for off-roading with a good mix of treed areas, lake views, and sandy dunes. There are rules for trail riding during bird migration season, and there are signs at the portions of the trail that offer details on this. The sunsets from the East side are phenomenal.

If you are into wildlife photography and birding. This is definitely for you.Quading trails, horse trails.....Camping spots!The lake is shrinking yes, but its still beautiful, and the birds are plenty.
