Spice Joint Lounge
Went here for lunch and boy am I happy I did. I don’t know what was better, the service/hospitality or the food. Their take on a BLT was a treat and it paired perfectly with the IPA on tap. Relaxed atmosphere and music with a lovely patio for chilling out on.

Best food in all of Jasper. Came here thinking the jerk chicken would be a bit too spicy for me but the restaurant owner made sure it was prepared in a way that used less spice (hot) but with still enough of the great flavor this place is known for. I had the jerk chicken fried sandwich. The chicken was perfectly cooked, the coleslaw was creamy, and the pickle sweet. The soup served with the jerk chicken was just out of this world. My friends has a jerk chicken grilled cheese and the fruit punch - both of which they loved.The only reason I'm giving this 4 stars and not 5 is because of the quantity for the price. it wasn't a lot of food let alone enough for the $22 they charge for a sandwich, wrap or grilled cheese. Fantastic experience otherwise.

This place is INCREDIBLE!!! We had the crabmeat grilled cheese and WOW! The cocktails are so good and made with great fresh ingredients unlike other places around. The service is probably the best I’ve had in a long time. I understand why it’s the HIGHEST RATED restaurant in the area. Truly a gem!!!

Would highly recommend this restaurant for your Jasper visit. The food, drinks and service are were exceptional. I would suggest the “white cloud” - a home made coconut cheesecake.

Spice Joint Lounge
Second visit to the Spice Joint and it did not disappoint. My Wife had the jerk chicken wrap and I had the jerk chicken sandwich and they were both great. They had nice-heat but are not overly spicy as some people might fear. Great reggae tunes on the sound system with Dwain, the owner, singing along with. He also makes a great rum punch.

UPDATE: Returned during our second trip to Jasper and this place was even better than we remembered! Service was amazing, food was delicious (got the Jerk Chicken sandwich again), owner's super friendly, washrooms and facilities very clean, and we were allowed to dine on their patio with our dogs. Thank you for being one of the highlights of our Jasper trip!-We got here at 3 pm and they were sold out of all their beef patties… apparently they open at 2? We ended up getting the Jerk Chicken sandwich which was really good. Just disappointed that they were out of patties within an hour and the posted time here was wrong.

Found this Caribbean restaurant in Jasper town. Overall the food was fantastic. The flavours of the jerk chicken and the soup were top notch. The quality of bread used for the grilled cheese and sandwich were brilliant.The main opportunities for improvement are the pricing and slightly the service level in the patio area. The sandwiches and grilled cheese on average cost $20 each. They do come with a side of soup/salad/fries but even then it is quite expensive. The server suggested the fruit punch but it was quite bad and pre-packaged. Again overpriced as it was $8. There were 2 servers and both were mainly inside so we had to go in to get their attention or even order food.The staff has a great spirit but need to manage the space a little better and they should consider reducing their prices for better volume.Nonetheless, overall a great place for Caribbean flavours.

The food was incredible. The ambience was light and fun- exactly what was needed after a day of snowy hikes. The restaurant owner, who served us, as well as came up with the menu(!!!) was a lovely person to chat with. Love hearing about how this little gem was his dream, actually come true!
