Ucluelet Charters

Had a great day with Dave. He made sure that everyone was comfortable and entertained. We had a slow start, but then the bite turned on and caught some really nice early season Chinook!

This was a great experience, the fishing was excellent and the wildlife plentiful. Captain Dave was awesome and very knowledgeable, a great time was had by all. Will definitely return for a longer trip next time!

I wasn't impressed... Conditions weren't good enough to get offshore so we tried inshore fishing for a while. However, the guide was nervous about getting in-line with all the other boats. Maybe it was a tactic to get us on fish without competing with a bunch of rods in the water, but he stayed off to the side, and as a consequence ripped the balls of the downriggers/wrapped the wire around the winch. Doubt that it was a strategy though, it just seemed like he was nervous. We ended heading back towards Ucluelet and jigging for ling for a while. I thought we were there so they meet us halfway and bring out a new downrigger, but after a while i realized that wasn't happening. Yes, i caught fish, but i could go out myself and jig a cod. I'd rather try and fail for salmon if I'm on the west coast rather than bottom fish. Communication wasn't really there, and my complaints were dismissed.

We went fishing and we had an awesome time. We caught our limit in less then two hours. Ken was great, he cleaned and fillet all our fish. Awesome people.

My Husband Ron just can't stop talking of the great fishing days he had with his friends on Ucluelet Charters, great capin and he went 3 times last year and had a blast, now his friends and my husband got there fish days booked for this year and I know Ron and his friends can't wait to get back out with ucluelet charters

This is the best charter we have been on to date and we have been to Alaska three times! Our guides, Dave and Mike took the time to explain the local area and waters. They both have great personalities and their boats were clean and comfortable for all of us over the 5 days we fished. You will not find more professional and courteous fishing guides.We had an absolute blast on our trip with Ucluelet Charters. We had fantastic conversation, along with laughs and exchange of stories. Seriously, the fish were on the line all day long, sometimes before we even had a chance to get the lines all the way down. Dave and Mike were great and really know the waters off Ucluelet and the best fishing spots. Everyone maxed out on Silvers, Kings and Halibut, additionally over 90 Salmon were returned and a similar amount lost.Thanks for the experience of a lifetime. Your friendliness, fishing techniques and boat handling were greatly appreciated. I will definitely be recommending you to our friends.THANK YOU for the best fishing trip ever.
