This is by far the most unprofessional company on the Island!! The workmanship is of the poorest quality. They use the cheapest products and cut corners thus taking advantage of clients. This company was paid twenty-three thousand dollars for a septic system that has had nothing but issue since. They glued the filter system onto a short line held on by 3/8 of inch and NO support to hold up the pump and filter. To say they don't know what they are doing is an understatement!. We would like to thank Coast for forcing us to use another company with way more experience and at a much better cost. It is refreshing to find another company that doesn't rip people off! Do NOT use Coast Septic if you want the job done correctly and with care.

Do yourself a favor. Go with another locale company, there are others. Too long of a story to read but very unprofessional, bad billing practices and over charged, 0 customer service. Never have I dealt with this kind of behavior in a company. OMG..And if you don't like your job then get another one. If I could go lower than 1 star I would.

Very pleased with the service that I received.I had my septic tank pumped and they were quick, courteous and up front about the costs. During the pump-out it was identified that my septic pump was not working. A technician arrived later that day and replaced the pump with a new one. Again, they were upfront about the costs for the replacement.Timely, efficient service with clear pricing.

I called a few weeks ago to have the septic emptied in my small rv parked in Chemainus. Upon first contact I found them to be very pleasant and helpful. The day before the scheduled appointment I was called by gfl and they left a message saying they needed more info. I called back 15m later and left a voicemail. The morning of I was contacted and told I needed to sign a release form aswell as be on-site during the service. I can’t just take time off at the last minute and was never told of this when I called prior. The girl in the phone didn’t not offer any kind of solutions and basically told me I was out of luck. I decided to take the morning off and go directly to the office to sign. Then after asked if she could email me a copy to sign and send back. She did. Not sure why she wouldnt have offered this easy solution? After all was said and done we kept the service appointment. I told her that I would not be there.Fast forward 4 days later and my tank is full, which usually takes 5 weeks. I called asking for help for a solution. She offered none and was quite dismissive, patronizing and combative to me. Told me I must have a clog and basically not their problem. Left me feeling very hopeless and sad about the situation. I made it clear that this was my first time doing something like this. As a professional she could have talked me through it and offered some kind of solution or support.This morning I had another company come. I was informed that the toilet needs to be open when the service is happening. Either by myself or propped by an object. I was never informed of this by gfl so I obviously didn’t do it. The tank emptied no problem today, No clog. I wasted $120 for gfl to come and do nothing. I would never use them or recommend them to anyone.

It's a good facility knowledgeable staff very helpful with whatever product you're bringing in direct you very well. Ben rental toilet rentals all of the above if you need something moved or something cleaned up their the people to talk to. They will give you the guidance you need.

Sounds like a environmentally responsible business huh. Well, not so. Their business at Chemainus has received numerous complaints, even making the TV news on their pollution. Worst of all is how runoff from their operation allows sewage to run into the surrounding ground water and Mill Creek.

Had tanks pumped. The technician was awesome and did a great job. Thanks so much. On time, professional and very fair pricing will be calling and recommending in the future
