Vulcan Municipality Park (Camp Ground)
This is a Municipal Campground which means it’s first come first serve - no need to book anything. Just come in and enjoy. Went here on the last weekend of June and only saw 1 other spot taken by a camper. Otherwise it’s quiet and empty - maybe 6 sites total ? The place has flush toilets and sink with running water. The grass was nicely cut. Some mosquitoes but nothing too bad. Quiet and calm at night to sleep in a tent.

Nice little campground right at the corner of one of the main roads into Vulcan. Washrooms available and nice open level lots.

Free camping for up to a few nights. Pull thru and regular sites with picnic tables. Some traffic noise. Free bathrooms, sani and water station. Great location just off the highway.

A quiet municipal dry campground with 5-6 sites near local arena, hospital, and residential area. First 3 nights free. Closes Canadian Thanksgiving Weekend, (2nd weekend of October)....bylaw officers enforce this. Somewhat forgotten by the town administration as no site numbers, despite registration envelopes request them; and, trash cans unemptied.

Vulcan Municipality Park (Camp Ground)
This place is perfect if you are pedaling across the country. The rates are great to spend a zero day in Vulcan. I was the only one here during the two nights I spent here in the middle of Summer. I appreciate little towns that have these campgrounds, thank you. I had a great time exploring the town and pigging out. Had a great evening sipping tea on a bench and watching the full moon rise over the prairie.

Vulcan Municipality Park (Camp Ground)
It was a place to park our Motorhome over night. Small, basic, no sevices but it was FREE and we appreciated that on our way to our destination. There seemed to be a wasp nest close as we were constantly harassed by large wasps when we sat outside in the evening.

Vulcan Municipality Park (Camp Ground)
They have potable water and dump station. Free camping up to three days. A couple of pull through lots but the rest back in. Total of eight sites. The bylaw officer dropped by when we arrived and he is a 15yr vet, young guy and very nice. Great place to camp for free. Head into town and buy local to make up for it.
