Rockport Barn

My best friend got married at the Rockport Barn earlier this week. I have nothing but positive things to say about this location and the owners. The barn itself is fun, cozy and clean. You could host a wedding here with zero of your own decor and it would still look phenomenal. There is multiple outdoor/indoors spaces for a ceremony/reception to take place. Multiple fire pits, gorgeous gardens, a pond, indoor and outdoor seating areas. The farmhouse (guest house) was fantastic for getting ready and had everything we needed (full kitchen, 2x bathrooms with showers). The entire property is stunning. Our hosts (Eric and Norm) were so warm and helpful. Their food is homey and delicious. They have tons of options for hosting a variety of different events (funerals, retirement parties, corporate retreats, family reunions). This is the ideal destination for your event in the 1000 Islands area.

What a gem! It's one of the most beautiful places to visit near Gananoque.Locally owned and operated. I've been there 3 times with absolutely great results. The food is wonderful along with primo service. Lots of parking on the property. Awesome fire pit! Great place for private parties, weddings, business gatherings... It's very rustic and homey. No dissapointments!!

100% Perfect. A small wedding of 14 enjoyed our stay and all the effort that went in to making Emma's and our son Scott's wedding wonderful. The location, the guest house, the food , the decor, the hosts!!! And, the best hot chocolate ever :) No request was too small or too big. Thank you! Wendy & Ron

This place is beautiful I highly recommend it for weddings or gatherings of any types of your into a rustic Barn setting.

Beautiful and quaint I was blessed enough to be able to stay in the guest farmhouse for 2 nights while visiting family in Rockport, Ontario (5 mins away)

I went to Rockport barn to photograph a winter wedding, and I fell in love.Both the owners and the place are simply magic.Firstly, arriving at the venue you see how picturesque the grounds are.There is an extended barn. The barn has an upstairs and a downstairs. The downstairs is super cosy in winter for intimate dinner parties of elopement-style weddings!I sort of got completely swept away while taking photographs of the interior details - because they were so beautiful.It's impossible not to lose track of time by the roaring fire there. This is the kind of charm and comfort that you might expect straight from a novel or movie.There is a large outdoor space, including an ice rink, mature forest lining the property, and beautiful paths.Now, the owners: Erich and Norm. They're funny, welcoming, and charismatic. They're simply amazing people, who did the world a great service by choosing to share with us their beautiful property and culinary skills.While I was photographing the wedding couple outside, Erich and Norm was busy inside, preparing for the dinner, and cooking up a storm. The smells from the kitchen were absolutely delicious.They also made sure all the little details were just right. The fire was roaring, the soup was bubbling in the pot... mmmm.After the outdoor ceremony, and some fun with fondue by the fire outside, the wedding party moved indoors and enjoyed a wonderful meal together in this cosy space.Rockport barn is only a short drive East of Kingston, and it's such a beautiful place that if you're looking for a wedding venue - particularly for an intimate elopement in winter, or maybe even a family dinner at a home away from home - you should definitely give this place a chance.Hugely recommend!!

We chose Rockport Barn for our wedding in April 2022 and could not have chosen a more memorable place. Erich and Normand were easy and fun to work and communicate with, they welcomed us to visit them throughout our planning process and helped us through all of our concerns and requests. On the day of the wedding they both did everything they could to kindly accommodate with the setup and prepared us a beautiful meal in the evening. But what touched us the most was their own initiatives to make sure every aspect of our day was thoughtfully attended to and made the overall experience something we will never forget. Our friends and family were amazed by the beauty of the barn and grounds and touched by how kind and humble Erich and Normand were. My wife and I highly recommend this venue for any of your events, we know you will not be disappointed.

A wonderful experience today at the Barn in Rockport; 16 ladies enjoying a delicious lunch in a beautiful festively decorated venue. The food and the service are second to none. Thank you Eric and Norman.

The venue is gorgeous, the owners are wonderful. Very instagramable! We attended a wedding there and it was fantastic!

What an adorable, fairytale like venue for a small wedding. The grounds seem to be able to accommodate a vast number of guests for your outdoor events however, if you are wanting to be in the barn portion for the most part... it will only accommodate up to 60 people comfortably. My brother and his wife got married here this late Summer and it was wonderful. The owners were a blast. The venue is a must-see / should-consider location for all small indoor or large our door events.
