We recently moved into a house that had the perfect carpet on the stairs but was chewed up by the previous dog that lived there. We searched hi and low for the same carpet, but it we came to find out it was discontinued. In comes Dave to the rescue. He found the manufacturer and had it laid up for us— And we couldn’t be happier! From Megan to Dave , to the installers Jason and Jay. Everything went perfectly! Over and above on all aspects! Highly recommend them.

Working with Vernes was the best part of a difficult situation. After a heavy rainfall we found ourselves dealing with Flood damage and an Insurance Claim. The team at Vernes helped to make the process simple and managable. Not only did we receive top notch customer service, we now have a product in our home that we can rely on for years to come. Marian was extremely rude and smoked on my property. He did a mediocre flooring job but I wouldn't recommend this installer. Within 2 weeks my floor was creaking, and my stairs had a nosing fall off. Great company, not the best installer.

Have been purchasing flooring for the house from Dave and Shawn for the past 3 years, always an enjoyable experience and if something came up - it is looked after immediately and professionally. We are undergoing a major renovation in our front showroom and required new flooring throughout. The job that Verne's Carpet One did installing our herringbone pattern was just amazing! We have had so many compliments from people standing in our space. We can't wait to see how it looks with all our display cabinetry and beautiful fixtures. The process dealing with Verne's was great...from the selection visit to the install. Even after a couple unexpected hiccups (uneven floors) things were handled pleasantly, properly and professionally. Would definitely recommend! Thank you to all at Verne's!

Extremely pleased with our new kitchen floor and backsplash. Sales people were knowledgable, helpful and spent lots of time helping us decide what we really wanted. We took home samples and there was no pressure getting them back to the store in a specific time. The installer's craftsmanship was excellent and he was friendly, polite, thorough and spent time explaining how to maintain the products that he installed. He also cleaned up very thoroughly after himself.When it's time for our next renovation project, we will certainly visit Verne's carpet 1 first.

Dave, Shawn and Michael are the very best to work with! I’m in love with our flooring and the tile they did for us. The staff that they had to come in to install the products were also so polite and wonderful to deal with. We will always recommend them!
