Algonquin Construction Ltd

In October 2013, we paid Rick Charbonneau from Algonquin Construction approximately $12,000 to build the foundation for our attached garage. By December, the floor started to heave and caused huge cracks between the first few rows of blocks. The foundation continued to deteriorate throughout the winter. Algonquin Construction stood behind the fact that the foundation passed inspection and refused to guarantee their work. They offered to fix it for approximately $8,000 and then asked us to sign a contract absolving them of any responsibility for this or any future damage to our garage foundation. THEY ARE TERRIBLE BOTH BROTHERS DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING...DO NOT HIRE THEM DON'T THROW YOUR MONEY AWAY! YOUR JOB TAKES LONGER BECAUSE THEY ARE IN COURT ALL THE TIME. THE CITY OF SUDBURY SHOULD NOT LICENSE THEM OR ALLOW THEM PERMITS... JOSEE P AND MYSELF ARE THE ONLY REAL PEOPLE ON THIS REVIEW. THE OTHERS ARE MADE UP. WE HAVE COMPLAINTS AT CITY OF SUDBURY THE OTHERS DO NOT!! ALSO ALGONQUIN KEEPS ON CHANGING THERE ADDRESS TO A EMPTY LOTS AROUND SUDBURY...THEY ARE CROOKS!!!!!!!!!

Algonquin Construction business has done our weeping tiles and did a very good job and exceeded our expectation. They took the time to make sure the landscaping was put back exactly as it was.They came highly recommended by neighbours and I could not be happier with their work. Very professional and courteous staff and we organized with fair price. I highly recommend them.

Absolutely great work took a 12x20 deck off the house dug down to the weeping tile around the foundation for at least 60 feet pushed the bowed wall back out installed the carbon fibre straps back filled the basement and reinstalled the deck in less than 3 days would highly recommend these brothers and the work they perform just professional work all round
