Seda Dance
Seda dance is an amazing place and wonderful space filled with great people and wonderful staff. Classes are designed to help individuals grow as artists and no one is left behind; teachers are responsible and attentive to the needs of students plus there are a lot of workshops available at different times in the year to further dance training and learn from artists in the community ☺️

Seda Dance
I danced all through my child and teen years. I never thought I'd have the courage to return to dance more than 20 years later. SEDA Dance changed my mind. The inviting, adult environment with a wide range of levels and styles of classes makes this studio the best adult dance studio in Victoria. Dance changed my life as a child and has changed my life again as an adult. My flexibility, fitness level and overall confidence in my body and mind has improved exponentially over the past few years. I highly recommend this studio, for beginner to professional levels. Dance is joy; thank you Kathy and your wonderful group of teachers.

I love Kathy's beautiful, self evident gift as a professional dancer as well her depth and creativity as a teacher: She explains dance in ways that wake up the intuitive knowledge, imagination, and urge to move in each individual student. I feel so privileged to participate in her classes!

Seda Dance
Kathy Lang's SEDA dance is the best studio I have ever danced with! She offers a wide range of styles from contemporary to ballet for beginner up to advanced level dancers. Kathy teaches with enthusiasm and humour and fosters a love of of dance in each student, while using her considerable expertise to guide students in proper technique and injury prevention. SEDA is a safe space for dancers of all levels, ages, and backgrounds - the community is so welcoming and fun! If you are a dancer or have ever wanted to try dancing, I cannot recommend Kathy's classes enough!

Kathy and Kayla are both excellent teachers! Their beginner contemporary classes are challenging but a lot of fun. The community at Seda is very welcoming and non-judgmental. The dance space itself is also beautiful, especially at night when it’s illuminated with fairy lights. I’m very happy to have found Seda!

The first time I danced with Kathy was about three years ago and I fell in love with her classes right off the start! Kathy is such an excellent teacher. As a beginner contemporary dancer, I am constantly astounded by Kathy's detailed attention, dedication and enthusiasm to guide her students to tap into their fullest potential, no matter what their level of training is. Kathy's studio at Seda Dance is also the perfect place to dance in - such a bright and open space. I think anyone who comes to know Kathy will quickly come to appreciate her passion to dance, her humour and her love to teach. I feel incredibly lucky to be one of her students!

I first met Kathy when I was 12yrs old and have followed her ever since! I’m so excited to see her bloom as she makes her twinkly lit studio her own. I love her movement and variety of classes offered as they have a wide range of movement whilst being accessible to all ages and ranges. Find movement through Seda and drop in to a class to get your body moving & let Kath guide you through the rest!

I have taken contemporary dance classes in Victoria for over 12 years and Kathy Lang is positively the BEST, MOST AMAZING dance teacher in this city. She gives her all, helps us grow individually, and offers a terrific workout. I leave every class grateful and smiling!
