Farm Boy
Handy location in Rideau Center at Sussex and Rideau. A great selection of fresh veg and salads makes up for it. Good source for organic milk. Farm Boy makes many of their own products from scratch without preservatives or chemicals including fresh soups, hand made sausages, burgers and kebabs, ready to cook prepared meats. Farm Boy carries its own line of private label products with hundreds of SKUs.

I’m not familiar with this brand as I’m new to the Ottawa area but tried this recently. It seems like While Foods and is a pretty unique and small grocery store in the mall. I tried their breakfast food bar. The ham and egg frittata was good as well as their sweet potato salad. Unfortunately their pancakes are a bit too sweet (tastes more like cake) and I was offered table syrup over maple syrup, so not sure if that was an option. Price was okay but could be better ($2.19 per 100g I believe). However, I think it’s worth checking out and staff was friendly and helpful.

Not my fave Farm Boy but it’s good to have a grocery store at Rideau Centre. First, I am often with a stroller and I dislike having to ask them to use the wheelchair elevator, so I just avoid it when I’m with my baby in his stroller. Second, they just got rid of the coffee bar.

Produces are fresh and very good quality. I also like their hot bar menu.Overall it's great but feels just a tiny bit more expensive.

It never ceases to amaze me how many different items they have here at Farmboy that are fresh & full delicious meals that you can just grab & reheat at home. The prices are good & the food is even better. Having tried almost everything they sell I can honestly say it's both the best food & my favorite grocery store.

Can you really go wrong for selection of fruit and veggies at Farm Boy? Add in a few steaks to throw on the Big Green Egg in March, and you have yourself a great dinner.

The store is very nice and modern. However it’s really small and doesn’t carry many organic products and has a limited hot bar selection. On top of that, the store is so so so cold towards the back, that the fruits and vegetables never have a chance to ripen

Farm Boy in Rideau Center is a convenient express supermarket accompanied by a large selection of ready to eat foods which are all $2.19/100g. The prices are at or below local grocery store level and all the items seem fresh and many are organic. Staff are friendly and helpful and there are always plenty of cashiers making it a fast check out even when busy! They have plenty of different things on sample and also sell coffee for 99 cents.There is a fresh pizza bar, deli, butcher, sushi bar, espresso/ coffee bar, hot food, salad bar, bakery and soup bar.
