Four Seasons Marketplace

My son bought a flower arrangement for ($20) for Mother's Day on Sunday afternoon on his way back from work. Within 48 hours more than 50% of the flowers were completely wilted and by the third day they were falling apart. As well the other flowers started wilting as well.I called the store and spoke with the Manager, Marco. I was told that the store doesn't have any freshness warranty on their flowers and that he can't do anything about it. I was very shocked and disappointed at the response given that most stores e.g. Metro give a 2 week freshness guarantee on their flowers.Michael Angelo's is not a cheap store and everything sold in the store is much costlier than other grocery stores. It's disappointing that such high end grocery store is reluctant to to satisfy a customer even when contacted directly on the phone.This was our first time buying flowers from here. Never going back again!You can't trust this store for quality and return policy!

I like that most of its products are organic, naturally, gourmet, and so on. The quality of the food is unmarkable, with their homemade" soups and dishes

This was (is) my favourite supermarket , their produce is always fresh and noticeably superior to the corporate chains. They sell top quality pastries and have great store made sausages. Given this I'm concerned about new ownership that is just taking over. My first trip to the store after this change was not good; prices are up: a case of San Benedetto water used to be approx. $5.70 it's now $7.50, upon check out I was told my points card had expired" on August 31

Had been a loyal customer for many years. After the sale to Starsky’s the drop in quality across the board has been shocking. Produce, meats, and fish (essentially gone) all greatly diminished. And as other reviewers have noted, prices are up. Terribly dissapointing. Finally, as others have also noted, most of the former staff are gone and service is terrible in comparison.Parking lot and grocery store is shockingly empty. Most others are obviously doing what I’m doing and going somewhere else. Worth a long drive to me to get something comparable to my previous experience. Really a shame.

Great grocery store! Produce and meat is fairly affordable and great quality. The bread is good, the bakery is good, and I'm glad to have a deli in the area. The check out is also a usually fast process and I've never had to wait that long.

Nice and clean supermarket. Produce are usually in great condition. Good deli and dessert counter. Also has beer available. But more expensive than other chained grocery stores.Update, review was for Michael Angelo's market, not for four seasons who bought the place after.

Michaelangelo's was an awesome grocery store. Since Starsky bought the store I've been very disappointed. The prices are more expensive, they've fired a bunch of the old staff and the new staff has been rude. The produce is surprising bad. I recently visited the store to get shallots and they were moldy. I've gone back several times trying to give them a second, third and fourth chance, but moldy food is the last straw. I'm not going back.

The store owners and managers of this store are the most rude, stuck up, disrespectful men I have ever met. I believe one of them is named peter and he has the worst attitude I've ever seen. You can tell their staff is very unhappy - probably because of the way they treat them. I will never come back here. Gross produce, gross meat, the only decent part of this store is its bakery. Shameful. They're most likely going to close down, it's a ghost town in there morning to night. DO NOT GO HERE.

It's a nice store. The only problem I had there was with the pastry department - the biscotti were old and tasted horribly. My suggestion would be to make sure that you change pastries regularly. If you don't sell them often - put out less so that they are always fresh! Other than than the fresh-fruit cake was very good, the only thing with it was, again, the sponge cake was on the hard side. It is supposed to be soft and moist.

The only reason I come to this grocery store is because of the staff. I have never experienced such amazing customer service from each and every employee - whether it was a cashier, manager, or hot food employees - they were all very polite and helpful! Sadly, this is rare with the current workforce at other retail and food establishments. They could all learn something from the staff at Four Seasons - keep up the good work!!
