The World's Largest Paddle

Cute little park, unfortunately the information sign was completely faded so you can't really read anything about the paddle... frankly I thought the paddle would be bigger lol

It's a quite an ordinary place with the paddle in the middle but the view is awesome and the 4 maple trees added a beauty in the background.

Cute place in the middle of nowhere. Having the mountain as its backdrop makes this place spectacular!Lack of signage and a proper driveway means this place is hard to find. I enjoyed hanging out there though as there wasn’t anyone there. The pond next to it makes the place even cuter!

The World’s Largest Paddle is a unique stopping point in the Columbia Valley along the highway between Radium and Golden, BC. It is a free attraction with a little pond and information board about the genesis of the paddle and its certification as the world’s largest paddle.There are a couple picnic tables, so one could easily enjoy a picnic here with the surrounding mountains offering stellar scenery to look at.The paddle is also part of a larger property that has a nature walk, canoe rentals, and more. We didn’t have the time to, but we would love to try canoeing down the Columbia River some day.Overall this is a neat little stop off the side of the highway and a neat item to check off on your “World’s Largest” item list.

Great place to stop and stretch legs. Massive paddle is cool to see. Area is well kept and neat.

Definitely worth stopping and nice place to have a picnic

Interesting. You need to keep your eyes open or you might miss it. We had a relaxing walk around and sit by the pond.
