Jane Fyfe, Director of Care was extremely responsive to our needs, often returning calls and emails within hours, with full information and insights from her team to address any issues questions we had.This facility is affected by the same institutional challenges as nursing homes across Canada; the struggle for good/great staff in this very difficult industry. This team has faired well, ESPECIALLY if your loved one is able to communicate and advocate for themselves. Our family member was UNable to advocate for herself and received less care (in our opinion) as a consequence . **PLEASE NOTE; this is also the case in most of the 5STAR reviewed facilities and premium homes, if your read deeply enough into the reviews.Overall, the cost and care ratio here is good, and if your loved one can still speak and interact, I would recommend it. If they can't,.. I would trust that Jane F is continuing to make progress, and suggest you read the subsequent reviews to make up your mind.
