My Cat Room

We’d highly recommend My Cat Room in Ottawa. It seemed very low stress for our two cats during their two week stay, and the ladies running it kept us updated very frequently with photos. I think it felt like a safe, calm place to the cats. The cats had plenty of comfortable spots to relax, plus lots of toys, scratching posts, windows to watch birds, and so on. You can leave your cats here and know they are in good hands and will get the attention and care they deserve.

We booked a room with My Cat Room over the holidays in Dec 2022 - it was an amazing experience with Sophie and Tina. They had excellent communication: followed up promptly via email or text, jumped on calls, and even let me visit beforehand to check out the space. We had our adult cat and kitten stay at MCR for 3 days - they had a BLAST. Sophie and Tina were so welcoming, kind, they clearly understand (and love!) cats, and they were very flexible and accommodating when it came to pick up/drop off timings. Additionally, they made notes around food habits and tended to both cats as needed. We were given frequent and adorable updates about our cats who were given ample attention, toys to play with, and interaction. So important! We love that they had a catified room to themselves and such attentive caretakers. We will be booking MCR in the future, for sure! Sophie + Tina - THANK YOU!

If Cleo, Boda, my roommate and myself could rate My Cat Room higher than 5 stars, for sure we would. What an incredible service offered by two incredible women.The kitties stayed in the West room and there was perches, climbers, shelves, scratching posts, lots of toys, places for them to hide, blankets, a sofa etc.I received daily photos, videos and updates while the kitties were on their mini vacation. They were clearly having a wonderful time. Lots of play time and cuddles were given.We can not recommend My Cat Room enough!! Thank you so much Sophie and Tina for making us all feel at ease with the whole boarding experience. As well as taking such amazing care of Cleo and Boda ❤We will definitely see you next time the kitties require a mini vacation.

We can not speak highly enough of My Cat Room! We are so glad we found them and feel comfortable leaving our boy Moscato in their care. We could tell from the email communication that Tina and Sophie were cat lovers; we got a great vibe from our initial interactions, they gave plenty of information and asked all the right questions of us. We were able to settle our little guy in on his first stay; sit with him for a bit and make sure he was comfortable. This made us feel very comfortable leaving him.Tina and Sophie have set up great sanctuaries for thier visitors and Moscato was extremely happy to explore. The rooms were clean and had everything a cat could dream of. We appreciated the updates, photos and videos and we were confident Moscato was having a great time. I was a little worried he wouldn't want to come home! Tina and Sophie also gave us great feedback on the toys he enjoyed most and his behaviour during the stay.After some not so great experiences at other places, we are relieved to find Tina and Sophie - true cat lovers and carers. I am sure Moscato is looking forward to his next vacation.

For anyone who is scared or anxious about boarding their cats, this is the perfect place to bring them. I have not met the owners but my roomate did and they went above and beyond taking care of Boda and Cleo.We received several updates and pictures that kept us at ease it was basically paradise for the cats with tons of toys and playing time. I can't thank them enough for their profesionalism and affection.If you need to find a place to keep your cats for a few days or even a week like we did this IS the place!Thank you Sophie and TinaKelly's roomate Adam :)

Maya and Luca just came back from one week at My Cat Room. They loved it and definitely loved Sophie and Tina. While I was away Sophie kept me up to date on how the cats were doing by sending pictures and notes therefore allowing me to be away from my babies, not worrying because I could see they were in good hands.

Mr. Handsome would give 10 stars if he could. From the moment we arrived at drop off to the moment we arrived home, Sophie and Tina made sure he was well cared for and entertained. From what I saw in the pictures and videos they sent while I was away, I wasn't sure he'd want to leave. I was on vacation; he went to cat camp!My Cat Room is set up beautifully for our feline companions, with perches and climbers, scratching posts, large windows, lots of toys, places for the shy ones to hide, and people who clearly understand and adore cats. When I returned, he was so chill and had clearly bonded with his hosts.I recommend My Cat Room without hesitation.

I can't recommend My Cat Room highly enough. Sophie and Tina were both absolutely fantastic and were so thoughtful and welcoming.My claico can be a little nervous in new environments and new people but Sophie and Tina were so patient with my kitty, by the time I came to get her after my vacation she was so calm and relaxed.The cat area is amazing, with lots of places to hide, sleep and play. I also really appreciated the updates and photos while I was on vacation just letting me know she was ok.Out of all the cattery's I have tried, this was by far the best!

Mr. Buddy gives Sophie and Tina a five stars review ! He had a wonderful week with them, and I could tell from the photos that I received daily that he was very relaxed and very entertained. He will miss the neighbourhood watch from the window and the many cuddles he received :D Thank you both !!
