Every staff I've encountered except one male staff and Lauren has been cold and unwelcoming, especially the staff who frequently wears a black blazer. Feel like customer service can be improved alot. Also, their elipticals don't function properly in the upstairs gym.

Only giving it a 2 because they have the essential equipment for me to the job done and it's cheap. The front desk staff is atrocious aside from one girl who actually acknowledged my presence. 99% of the staff barely look at you and never say goodbye. They are on their phones and ignore you when you walk by. If this were my business, I would put focus on my front staff if anything, as it's the face of your business! Also, them getting rid of their child care was a big mistake. That was such a good idea! This gym has potential, but they have run it into the ground over the years. If I wasn't so cheap, I would cancel my membership!

*Update, Sept2022*I dropped in a week or three ago. It honestly wasn’t bad at all. The staff was friendly and approachable.I’m not going to change my review from 3 stars, though, because while it is a perfectly serviceable gym, there are two (well, 2.5) strikes against it.First, it is a bit dingy. NOT dirty or “moldy” as some other people have said. The equipment seems to be in decent condition and is cared for. It’s just an old building, that’s all.The second this is a bigger issue, for me, personally: it is crowded to the gills with equipment. That might be good for you if you know how every last thing works and can make use of it all, but for me, I just felt like I could hardly navigate between the machines, let alone the people.Lastly, just a minor quibble, but they’ve only got a single squat rack, which is especially weird considering how much other gear they’ve shoehorned in there.In summary: NOT a bad gym, but due to the crowding, not for me.*Original Review*Wow, pretty obvious that someone got fired two months ago for taking a break when her boss didn’t think she should, and so she enlisted her hordes of FB friends/IG/Twitter followers to inundate the listing with 1-star reviews.I’m NOT defending the business or the alleged actions of the managers — but this sort of thing is transparently petty and fundamentally unhelpful. ALL it tells me is that a profoundly unhappy and spiteful person USED to work there.

Marissa is one of the best workers they have and it’s honestly sad to see them let go of someone that made this gym a better place. I’m sure they will be losing a lot of members as they should. Shame on these owners.

Save yourself the headache and go to literally any other gym in Abbotsford. This gym has a really bad mold problem, lots of things are broken and management doesn’t seem to care. You are charged 2 annual maintenance fees but it doesn’t seem like they use the money to improve the gym in any way. This place is absolutely disgusting and I will be calling better business bureau.

If I could give this review 0 stars I would. They are currently promoting a kids boxing class on Mondays and Wednesdays at 4pm. I called ahead of time to confirm that my son is interested in attending their class. They confirmed that it began at 4pm; and they would see us then. We showed up at 3:50pm; my son was very excited and enthusiastic. We waited at the front reception and no one greeted us. After 10 minutes; the woman we spoke to came over to help us. She looked confused and then asked her colleagues if the classes was happening. They got on their phone to see if the instructor was coming. Then, they gave us some excuses that there weren’t enough kid’s registered, so the class wasn’t happening. My son was extremely disappointed; and so was I. They could have told me this over the phone when I called them to confirm. Poorly run gym facility and the staff are a joke. This is not how to operate a gym or fitness classes. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.

I’d give it 0 stars if I could. They STEAL MONEY from their costumers and pocket it for “maintenance” when the gym has mold and many other things wrong with it. They don’t let their employees have breaks but still deduct 30 minutes of pay a day off their pay cheques. Don’t waste your time or money going here.

Staff is nice but the place is falling apart. Old machines, mild, dirty. If you cancel your membership they will charge you for another month. Be aware. Place is going downhill fast.

I have been there a few times for drop in to test out the different gyms to find a home gym and this place was the worst. They treat the staff like they’re animals and complaints don’t actually do anything… after that I came down a illness and it was cause of the mold all over the walls and lack of clean air ventilation! Don’t recommend this place at all! Save your money and go somewhere else place is terrible and a pure dump.

I got fired because “it just wasn’t working out” ~owners. They have treated the staff awfully. They will not listen to any complaints. When I was working, they expected me to use my own paycheck to better the place even though they pocket the annual fee for “maintenance”. It’s truly sad, the gym itself can go so far if they had owners who actually care about the community.
