This is the second time we have bought an appliance from The Recycle Shop, the first was a fridge in October of 2018. It was delivered on time and in good shape. We appreciated help in getting the “new to us” appliance installed. Today we took curb side delivery of a washer/dryer stacker. It looks to be in good condition and I’ve been pleased with the two loads I’ve run through it. Questions were asked and answered via text messages with regards to a minor problem which I was then able to fix. 2 for 2 we’ve been pleased with help received from Bob and although we hope to not have to have any repairs or replacement appliances any time in the near future, we would happily deal with him again and recommend him to friends.

We were in need of a used stove on a rather urgent timeline. I called the store and asked for their recommendation of what they had in stock. Elliot checked and returned with some info and a recommendation. It has been a perfect match for our needs and the fact that he didn't just try to move the most expensive unit speaks volumes to his and the stores credibility and integrity of the staff and business. The delivery and install, again, efficiently completed and without any issue. I would not hesitate recommending this business to anyone needing a used appliance.

Not so impressed. Item listed at $250. Went to store to buy. They said I must be mistaken. Showed them their ad. Showed item listed at $250. Refused to stand by their ad, said item was $450. No integrity. Give these guys a miss.

Follow Up: We started having an issue with the washing machine a bout a month after we got it. I sent a couple emails and got no response. We have to replace the washing machine as the electricboard and motor both died. I understand that covid is making everything tricky but a response to our emails that were sent in thewarranty period would have been appreciated.Our washer died while we were self isolating. Bob was awesome about arranging a zero contact pick up and made the whole transaction easy peasy. I would definitely recommend Recycle Shop. The set we bought works beautifully and is exactly as described.

Bob and Brian were a great team. I needed a replacement washer and dryer for my business. They helped me out when no one else even returned calls, and went out of their way to install and follow up. Bob is trustworthy and knowledgeable. Brian is dependable and reliable-he really went above and beyond. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and use their services again.

Shout out to therecycleshop.ca and Graham who was so helpful. They keep large appliances out of landfill by reselling (and fixing, when they can) older stoves/fridges/deep freezers.Bought a used older fridge (comes with 30 day warranty) for a beer/garage fridge. It started failing within the warranty period and Graham gladly took it back and exchanged it for a bigger, younger fridge he had in stock.Very kind and helpful man and thanks for keeping so much steel out of our landfill.

I was warned, I bought a fridge from them anyway. It stopped working in a month. Don’t make the same mistake I did.So far, the owner won’t reply to my email about the issue.

Bought a car- had an issue- Robert (Owner) didn't hesitate to make it right. Reliable and honest. Very happy with my purchase, and how all staff treated me very well.

Got a used stove for our rental, and I asked them to take away the old one as well. So I am thankful that they had something suitable at a fair price, and pleased with the delivery.

I regularly purchase appliances from TheRecycleShop. All the appliances come as advertised and in good, clean condition. Bob, has always been very pleasant and cooperative to work with. Often he will say, if you can wait a little while, I have more stock coming in. I would highly recommend TheRecycleShop.
