This Marina has upgraded their facilities. The docks are solid and the ramps are also well built. The parking areas are capacious and secure. Knowing your vehicle is parked in a safe place makes for a huge peace of mind while canoe camping away for days at a time. Knowing you can get your park permit for the French River Provincial Park at the Marina office is a good thing. This Marina is the only access point for the F.R. Prov. Park at the Georgian Bay end of the river. Great service but it is a bit pricey at $14.00 per day for parking and $10.00 per canoe to launch. However, glad to pay it for all the benefits provided.

The folks at Hartley Bay were awesome. Took care of launching our boat and bringing it out... real pros! They even gave us a ride to our vehicle when we arrived back. Spectacular waters that go on forever... one could never cover it all and learn every great fishing hole.

We used Hartley Bay Marina as a launch point for our kayaking trips on the French River. The owner/office staff were very helpful with maps and suggestions and the launch staff were terrific at getting is in and out of the water effortlessly. We took some time to watch how efficiently they moved boats in and out of the water and their friendly attitude throughout. We plan on returning here soon.

I have used Hartley on a few occasions to set out or end at on canoe trips. I truly appreciate their service, knowledgeable and all around great disposition. They are dog friendly and overall just great energies for all the people!!

First ever women and kids canoe trip and back country camping! Great atmosphere and incredibly friendly staff! Ask a million questions and they will answer every single one! Enjoyed a beautiful stay in one of the cottages. They are very clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Great swimming and fishing. I have never encountered such amazingly kind people and warm hospitality. Everyone went above and beyond anything I have ever experienced, truly an unforgettable holiday
