Exceptional customer service when dealing with Angela Storey. I had been with my previous broker for 30+ years and Angela was able to get me better rates for home and auto insurance. My company has been with Huronia Insurance for more than 3 years now. Marie Low is quite an amazing agent. Fast response, efficient, super bed side manners. We have numerous policies with her. I don't think there is enough kind words to say about Marie. With our company there is always an emergency where we require information from our insurance companies, and Marie had always given us the information needed so immediately. I called this company out of the blue, in urgent need of house insurance for a house we were purchasing the next day. They were incredible. We own a couple of properties in BC and a boat. They are all insured with Westland and it has been a great experience. Then, out of the blue I needed to secure insurance for my Mom's house and cottage in Ontario on extremely short notice. Huron pulled out the stops and got it done in a timely and professional manner. Huronia Insurance Group really helped us get a better deal on our House Insurance. It covered everything from our other Policy but at a better price. Been a client of Huronia for almost 8 years. It was always so seamless communicating with them and getting things completed such as claims, renewals and payment. They provided prompt, friendly and professional service throughout our dealings. After finding this broker through Google, I had decent expectations since they had 90+ reviews and holding a 4.5* rating. I filled out the contact form on their website last Monday to request a consultation. Their consultant Michelle followed up via email promptly to offer her assistance. Tuesday morning I responded to coordinate a phone appt for that morning which she was again prompt to respond. We spent 20 minutes on that call answering her qualifying questions for both home and auto insurance. We finished off with her confirming she’ll need 24 hours (until Wednesday evening) to compile quotes and shop around. Not hearing from her, I reached out on Friday morning to followup and she replied promptly saying she’ll have them out that evening. Well it’s now a week later and still nothing. I can totally appreciate if people are busy and have urgent files to deal with. But the lack of communication is frustrating. Not sure if it’s because my current policy isn’t set to renew until the end of August and I don’t take priority.... regardless, it’s very disappointing coming from such high recommendations.
