I just moved here from Southern Ontario and this was first real customer service interaction I did in the Soo I have to say... I. Extremely happy!!! The counter staff were fast friendly knowledgeable very very positive experience. I've never walked out of a service ontario my entire life with a smile.

Honestly would have given a 0 if I could. Every time I visit this place the customer service it terrible. They always try to make you feel guilty if you do anything online or mention anything about online. “Yes I know you work on commission you tell me every time! And maybe if you brushed up your customer service skills people I wouldn’t consider online in the 1st place”

By far the WORST service Ontario in the entire province. Everybody especially the male manager seem inbred. 10/10 would NOT RECOMMEND

Awful service and gross abuse of power from the guy named Tim who works there. A government employee who refused service to Canadian citizens because he claimed his feelings were hurt from a comment made on the phone days prior expressing how nice he was after he was being extremely short on the phone , exclaiming he is too busy to answer any questions. Which afterwards when we went in the first time he claimed some of the things he said on the phone were not actually what he said regarding the acquisition of temp plates to transport a car to a shop as well as eligibility for insurance. A small disagreement about what he told us over the phone and what he told us in person took place (he said on the phone that if she could find insurance they can get temp plates and change the ownership) but in person he claimed he never said any of that. Then refused her service because we explained he had said something different on the phone but he claims he did not which is when his ego took over and he said we have to go to another service ontario if we want help. He would not even give us his name when I asked for it in disbelief of how he was behaving. A full grown man who is a government employee engaging in such petty behavior and openly admitting to acting like a child when I asked him if he was serious that he will not help us because he said his feelings were hurt. In response I asked if we could step back in line and have someone else in the office help us and he told me you can try" and laughed. So we stood back in line patiently. My friend was now in tears. When we were called up by a lovely lady who worked there

I was quickly able to renew my health card and they proactively checked if I needed my driver's licence or plates updated... which I did. Less than a 10 min wait at 1150am! And they gave me a good reminder to peel off all stickers on my plate because some out of province or out of state police are pulling people over for expired plates!

Well service on Bruce Street is hit or miss. I wonder if it will because there’s a couple guys working there that got the job as teenagers ( thank to Momma) and have worked there now for probably over 20 years. This is likely what inflates their ego and provides the idea that they are MTO royalty.I was recently informed that a $700 payment was not showing on the system and if I chose to pay it and then investigate .. I would NOT GET A REFUND even if I prove that I had previously paid the $700.IS THIS TRUE??
