Just went in with my wife to buy glasses, stood inside for more than 5 mins, no Hi, no acknowledgment whatsoever, we just left

The best optical store. If I ever buy any eyewear product, Carlo is the only professional that I would go to.

Knowledgeable and great service. My Optometrist has made a mistake in my prescription and the owner Carlo is very nice and offered to replace the lens Free!

He is a nice guy but I thought he would change. I use to refer people here but don't think I will anymore.I came in specifically asking for Nikon lens because of my prescription and the first time he said that Crizal lenses are just as good. Fine, but I wanted Nikon, while dealing with his assistant she regularly checks with him for pricing and confirms she can sell those lenses or the agreed upon price. We agree Nikon lens, with all the coatings I wanted. Deposits paid and were good.Order lenses a week ago and then they are ready in less than 5 days. I know for a fact my lens from Nikon come from Japan and take minimum two weeks to show up. Get there low and behold he has ordered me Crizal lenses and giving me same story about pricing. I need my glasses to see and this is how you try to squeeze profits. Covid hit everyone hard and business worse and I try to keep money going into these private stores.This is your livelihood and would've know this right off the bat. These lens make you more profit I get it but this is how you piss people off. Maybe others don't care and go there but I probably won't return and find another store.Goodluck and stay safe, I won't be returning ever again or giving referrals. One stars because they are polite but I would give 1.5 if I could, politeness doesn't make up for what you did and changing an agreement that you already agreed too. So I can't say it deserves a two.

I have been going to Carlo Optical for 15 years now. His prices are yet to be beat. Carlo and all his past and present staff have always be very helpful and friendly.
