Good place to share and listen to music. It has a large stage and good equipment for shows, it also has a bar for liquors

Like the gender neutral washrooms toilets seat didn't have pee on them surprisingly. Performances were great large crowd filled up quickly. There was merchandise and a bar.

Great location, nice vibe. Non- gendered washrooms.It's May and the air con is on so high, I had to leave just to warm up.

Wonderful venue with multiple areas. Enjoy intimate performances in the front room everything from roots to klezmer. The video is from the larger space. Pure joy.

Best little music venue in the city. Often three shows going on at the same time, almost always something pwyc. Also it's basically a co-op, so all your money is going back into supporting a non profit venue and the artists and the employees. Use this place!

First time I was at the Tranzac was back in the '80s during Caravan, when they had live sheep shearing demonstrations and Foster's on tap. I don't think they do the sheep shearing thing anymore (a shame, really, because it is quite something to see it done in front of you), but they still have live entertainment every night, often several different kinds at once. We used to like to go Tuesday nites for bluegrass, but stopped when the place shut down for Covid. Great to see it back up and running again. Friendly, funky, and still one of the best live music venues in the city. They also have drama, poetry and other forms of entertainment, too. Plus beer.
