Definitely overpriced. We looked at the menu online thinking it was overpriced not knowing it was from a year ago just to arrive there and see approximately a 10-15% increase.The onion soup was under par but okay. The hanger steak with vegetables was very good. The service was good.All in all, you can definitely find better options in Magog but you could do worse than 1855.

Very cute place and quiet in the afternoon. My brother and father got the soup and fish and chips. They only had one vegetarian option but it was risotto so I enjoyed it. The service was nice and fast enough. The portion sizes were on the small side but my party was full by the end so it didn't matter! The food is rich and flavourful, it's a good place if you're looking for a fancy lunch with a nice glass of wine.

On a Friday night we visit this nice restaurant for the first time. Using the open table application was very easy. We took our places and we first choose our wine based on the advice of the very nice waitress. We took calamari as a appetizer. We looked at each other with the first bite. The calamari well cooked and the small siding sauce was amazing. Enjoying the food, the wine and the chef was close by in this open concept kitchen to see him prepare our next dish. The personal was very quick and professional to make sure everything was joyful for us. The main dish was a real delight to see but even tasted again amazing. We thanked the chef for his amazing cooking and we will come back any time we will be into the town. Great food and friendly professional staff. Thank you so much

This restaurant is tops. Every meal we've had there has been delicious. Looking forward to trying more offerings. All the staff has been friendly, courteous and professional. Will be going back soon...very relaxing.

Great restaurant we tried for lunch; it has a terasse at back overlooking the water and pleasant jazz music. The service was excellent and so was the food. The burger was quite tasty!

I have been to that restaurant many times and it is always delicious! The owner is very friendly as well! I like to bring friends there and everybody is always beyond satisfied!! Can’t wait to ga back!

The food and service was great, but the atmosphere left much to be desired. The outside terrace overlooks mostly parking lot, and the local businesses were constantly throwing their garbage out in their dumpsters while we ate. I'd recommend eating inside.

Excellent dining experience in a casual setting. Thoughtful, well-prepared menu leans towards comfort food. Well-chosen, reasonable wine list and attentive, friendly service elevate the experience even further.
