Alcuin College

My Son was in this school for a couple of years, and it was a great supportive and educational place. The school has highly qualified and caring people and students get a lot of education and individual attention as well as mentoring. The size of school is small but that is a model that the school's vision is based on. It is a major factor to think about and it depends on your kid and how he feels more supported.

I have been a student at this school for just over 2 years now, and i can say: Alcuin is an incredible, but different type of school. This school offers many different amazing qualities including a very small class. This offers more 1 on 1 time with teachers, and raising your grades for university. I over all love this school, and they have really helped me realize how important school really is. Alcuin deserves 5 starts for sure as the teachers are the kindest and friendliness people I have ever met. Thanks so much for listening and Alcuin Is by far the best school to get a good learning experience from in the north shore. Thanks

I have been at this school for 7 years. ever since i came here in grade one i have had a great learning experiance. The staff and staff are so supportive and kind. They embrace being the best you can be and they have been there for me and other students when they need it.

This is our first year at Alcuin College. Our son is in first grade and so far our experience has been fantastic! His teachers as well as the administrative staff are highly qualified and show exceptional care for each student. The Head of School Ms. Stella is an extraordinary educator and visionary and she is committed to the constant growth and improvement of the school.Our son is a bit ahead for his age in some subjects and his home room teacher Ms. Carol has been able to create an exciting curriculum that matches his needs and interests. As a result, he is happy to go to school and looks forward to meeting his friends each morning. We also love the opportunity to connect with the families from his class and often gather together for dinners, concerts, play dates and birthday celebrations. In addition to a great learning environment for our son he gets wonderful guidance and support as far as his social skills and behavior which we believe is extremely important in the early years of a child’s educational experience. There are plenty of opportunities for sports, field trips and weekly visits to the library and local business. The entire Alcuin community of teachers, students and parents are very excited to move to the amazing brand new building and we can’t wait to see what is next in store as our son continues to learn and grow supported by Alcuin’s teachers and staff. We as a family, highly recommend Alcuin to other families.

Alcuin is an outstanding school. The teachers are highly qualified and passionate about their job. Stella is a remarkable principal who is deeply involved in every aspect of the running of the school, and yet specially makes time for the students and parents. My son, who was apathetic and underachieving in his previous school, now looks forward to going to school and is self-motivated to complete his homework. After a few months in Alcuin, his grades have already shown marked improvements under the care, guidance and encouragement from his teachers. My daughter is also enjoying her experiences in school and loves all her teachers and friends. I am really glad I decided to enrol my older kids in Alcuin.
