Very professional cut. My barber was Alex Gleeson. He was very friendly and he did exactly what I asked for. He offered suggestions and was very helpful. Best haircut I’ve gotten so far in Toronto.

I received a haircut from Lisa on Valentine’s Day and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. I’m not easy to please, so I hope that speaks the her level of professionalism and skill. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending Lisa to anyone.

Russell is a legend. This guy knows how to cut hair. I've recently moved into the area and looking for a barber who knows how to make me look like a beaut. Russell works fast and doesn't mess around. Understood exactly what I wanted and executed perfectly three times now. I am definitely a regular. If you want a solid cut, go to Rus. The other barbers in the shop seem cool too and the lady at the desk is really nice. Great service all around.-Jeremy

I have been coming here every 3-4 weeks for the last 5 years. Sean is my guy but I have had a good experience with all the staff. I constantly get compliments and have recommended this place to friends and family. Sean is a master of his craft. He has the skills to cater to any request and the vision to come up with new styles.I always look forward to coming here not just for the haircut but the amazing company. So this is not really a haircut place for kids at all, but the staff is so friendly and talented that they pulled off nice clean cuts on my three little gentleman. If you have a little boy with an okay attention span for a haircut, this is a great place to get a superior kid’s cut that will compliment their hair texture and head shape. They all left feeling super handsome. Results below!

I am what you would call a perfectionist so for me, finding a barber is as hard as finding a doctor. That said, I did a bunch of research ahead of time and landed at Axe and Hatchet and truly I could not be happier.I've been to salons all over the city throughout the years and Axe and Hatchet is, (as Dante the owner) referred to it, a 'hybrid'. Its like he took a really chill cafe, crossed it with an old school barbershop and added a twist of modern salon. Basically its a non-pretentious (rare) place to go and get a cut, beard trim, touch up and a few other things done. The idea is simple but executing a simple idea well is much harder than doing something complex and having it turn out with the same level of quality. Booked the appointment online, confirmed it online, got a text the day before to remind me of the appointment (like I needed it, was looking forward to it all week), showed up early and had my hair cut and beard trimmed by Dante. In and out in 45 minutes, like the stylist next to me said '...looking like a new man.'There is really not much more I can say to convince you how good this place is. I can tell you this, I will be back in three weeks for my complimentary touch up and three weeks after that for another appointment because as far as I'm concerned Axe and Hatchet is the best in the city.
