I had an excellent experience with Danielle Scott at the Credit Counselling Society, as I always have over the years. I haven't learned the lesson yet of how to be financially literate, maybe this time! But, if you know the feeling when your finances are stretched too far and there is no source of money any more, and you don't know where to turn, the Credit Counselling Society is the softest place to fall that I know of. They are free, and they are there for you every step of the way, to get you out of this jam, in one piece. There is light at the end of the tunnel, and when I needed hand-holding, they held out a hand for me!

Great service from everyone that I spoke to over the couple of years that I used their services. Everyone was very polite and understanding. I paid off my loans a year ago but I'm still very grateful that such a great service exists. My life is so much better without my credit card debt. I would definitely recommend coming to the CCS if you're having trouble keeping up with your credit card payments.

I found the staff at the Credit Counselling Society to be very understanding and helpful. Although my experience was brief, the amount of time spent with them provided more information and advice than I have received anywhere. I wish I had called them sooner.
