Master Kim is an amazing Master and truly cares about all his students. He is dedicated and passionate in making students better and always strives to bring out the best of you. If you want to learn the martial art of taekwondo this is the perfect place to start for all ages including adults. There is an amazing balance of fun and learning. As a past student of Master Kim and now an instructor, I highly recommend Kim's Premier Taekwondo academy.

In our previous studio, our daughter was pushed through every two months for a belt promotion. While this gave our daughter a sense of accomplishment, she was not always ready for the promotion with her skill set. When we joined Master Kim's he let her keep her current belt color but he put her curriculum two belts below to match her current skill set. It took our daughter 4 months to gain a belt promotion, but she felt so proud of herself when it happened and confident that she knew what she was doing. I appreciate Master Kim's approach with senior and junior belts and his tape system because it keeps the students engaged and feeling like they are still earning rewards, while ensuring that the students know the curriculum before gaining a promotion. If your child is motivated, they can likely go through the curriculum faster than my daughter did, but the pacing matched my daughter's growth. The two instructors that worked with Master Kim were both great as well. Everyone is very encouraging through each class.

Our experience with Master Kim has been absolutely amazing. In his presence, you will feel his positive energy, his wealth of knowledge and skill, a results based teaching technique and most of all his welcoming attitude a family member would posses. If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would.

Master Kim is amazing!! He is so good with people and he knows what he’s doing. I’m extremely happy to learn Taekwondo from him over the years. He brings an energetic and positive attitude whenever you see him and his smile brightens up your day! In class, he always knew how to get your heart racing and how to give everyone in class a good workout! I would highly recommend anyone to learn Taekwondo from him!

Master Kim is excellent as well as all the other Masters and instructors too. We are going in a family class and we are enjoying the workout,strength, mental education, discipline,and skill. All are well trained taekwondo skill.

Master Kim is AMAZING! We toured other schools and this was by far the best. It is organized, clean friendly, and just absolutely the best. Our children learn so much here from discipline, values, respect and Taekwondo. Pearl is so helpful and prompt with responses to our questions. Master Kim is the best martial arts instructor in North America. He is not only providing physical martial arts skills for his students but also making awesome commitment to helping his students improve positive character development that his students can succeed in their daily life.

Master Kim is most professional and respectful Master that I have had the honour to meet. I have enrolled my 7 year old boy in his Taekwondo classes and I’ve never seen anybody deliver such motivation and establish such a solid method of self esteem in his kids in my life.
