Donair Affair

Quick and filling comfort food. I’ve enjoyed the lamb rice platter and the chicken rice platter. A bit heavy on the sauces for my liking even when asked for them to go light on the sauces. The greek salad is fresh tasting. Hummus is standard. Filling portions if you need a quick meal.Masks worn but gloves not worn by staff when directly touching food in making the wraps, which I found concerning.

I have had from here once last year. I am a very particular fan of middle eastern and and Indian food. Even though the first time I ate it (a treat by my brother) was not that great nor bad I wanted to try it once more.The lady who was serving was very helpful and smiling, I had a small issue at the time of payment. Other than the regular charges there was an additional charge of 25 cents added to my payment and I questioned it. the lady who was serving me very politely said it was a regular charge to every customer and offered me to talk to the owner. The owner came to the scene and he tried to convince me by saying all the places charge the same amount, but when I stated that other joints like the holy falafel and donair spot does not charge it he got aggravated and started swearing at me. I retaliated by saying you are a liar and is trying to cheat the customer of an extra quarter. I left the food there and left, he was keeping on swearing. I just wanted to bring this into other customers notice. I don't have any bad remarks against their food or their service but the owner if questioned starts yelling and surely will shout at you asking you to get out.Just for questioning the extra 25 cents being charged you get to hear middle eastern way of swearing ( I dont think he has any sense of belonging or know where he is) he didn't know that being brought up in the middle east I would understand a little bit of arabic and persian.I will surely go back to the place and try to reproduce the scenario and record all the things once again on my mobile. I am really adamant on showing him that, this is not the way to treat any customer. He is going to pay for it.

Their donairs are always really good. Always get one of the super wraps if you ever order from there. I went there with a friend one time when the old owner was there quite a few years ago. Very friendly guy. It looked like they changed hands a couple years ago. When I went there last time, the customer service was definitely lacking. At least with my experience, the girls making the food weren't rude, and my donairs came out right. If you're bothered by the customer service, they do deals on Uber every now and then, where you can do buy 1 get 1.

Surrey branch... cash or debit only.I ordered today, and I feel compelled to share my disappointing experience. I was taken aback by the lack of price transparency and the unauthorized charges for extra sauce. If you plan to charge your customers for asking a bit of a customization, please have the decency to inform them first and let them confirm if they accept the extra charges. Your extra sauce charge is not even on your menu!The donair was already dry and lacked meat. Maybe you purposely made it dry so you can secretly charge your customers for asking extra sauce??? The donair wrap was also very cold. And the beef lacks flavor.Overall, i feel like they're a rip-off.

Absolutely the best around. I've been getting chicken donairs from Donair Affair for over 20 years. I have never been disappointment.Great taste, fresh ingredients, large portions and affordable prices.

The females working here have the worst customer service ever; they are unfriendly, don't say hello to guests, and just generally seem to dislike their jobs. Please teach your workers; even though the food is excellent, you've lost a customer today coz of poor customer service.

One of the best donairs I've ever had. Perhaps it was because they were busy and everything was fresher on Friday night, but they listened to my requests, made my order perfectly-no onions and light sauce with a Greek salad combo. Delicious! Was really nice for a change from Subway. Less bread and more ingredients.

Beef rice platter with extra feta, the works, extra pita bread and drinks. Our weekly cheat meal and worth every bite.I don't recommend any other DONAIR AFFAIR in the lower mainland except this particular franchise. The meat, sauce and the service is amazing. The owners been here and is a staple of the local community. His food is made with love.Which I found was not the same in other franchise stores of the same name.I personally ate at 3 other locations and the food quality isn't there. Sorry not sorry.

Great people. Amazing donair. Incredible drink selection. If you’re looking for a good donair today you found the right place. All around 5 star experience. Shout out to the staff for keeping those rotisserie’s rotating.

we just ordered 3 Donairs wraps, 1 chicken and two lamb conair wraps. WARNING!!!!!Not good. Meat was COLD ! I repeat COLD, also it was very soggy!!! It lacked flavor , rushed and honestly $45 was not worth it . I have gone to many restaurants in my life and I would not reccomend this place to eat . Please pass . Your money is worth it and I never really post reviews but I wanted to help others before using there hard earned money in this pandemic not to go to wasteplease if any one has questions ask away I want to help people
