I've had the privilege of working with Eric for the past four years. He has accompanied me in a wide variety of genres in trumpet music. Regardless of the repertoire's skill level, however, Eric always came prepared and ready to make meaningful music. I would highly recommend him to any instrumentalist or vocalist looking for piano accompaniment.

When we moved from Vancouver to Victoria a year ago, we needed a piano teacher for our daughter who had finished grade 8 piano. We searched the internet and found Eric, and not knowing anything about him, we took a chance with this young piano teacher. We were lucky as Eric turned out to greatly exceed our expectations. Our daughter's sight reading, which had been a weak spot, improved dramatically, and her interest in practicing the piano also increased significantly, as Eric has been a very stimulating teacher. We are sorry that he is leaving Victoria for Vancouver, as it will be hard to replace such an outstanding teacher.

I feel so fortunate to have had Eric as my son's piano teacher for the past year. Eric is professional, patient, friendly, and talented (both as a musician and as a teacher). I really appreciate his philosophy with regard to music pedagogy - he balances technical skill practice with creativity and improvisation. I rarely had to ask my son to practice and I really appreciated that Eric hosted two piano recitals during the year. What a phenomenal instructor.

Both of my kids really love teacher Eric so much. We just moved to Richmond and they started to learn with teacher Eric. They always want to play with teacher longer and enjoy the class so much. They love to practice at home and play with teacher as well. My daughter said Eric is the best piano teacher she met.

Eric is a great piano teacher that I would recommend to friends. He is passionate about music and is kind and patient to his students. He is also willing to put effort in understanding his student's unique learning style and adjusting his teaching methods accordingly. We are going to miss him as he move back to Vancouver.

Eric is a great and talented teacher. While taking his online classes, he showed patience towards his students and gave valuable insight on how to play the piano properly and creatively. His setup is professionally done so you can see and hear everything he is doing which makes it easy to follow. Highly recommend!

Eric is an inspiring piano teacher. My son has learned piano from him for about three months and he is progressing very well in learning piano. As Eric learnt piano when he was 7 years old, he understands how young learners feel and always keep my son on track. He will write down the home work on a note book and look for books for his level. As I don't help my son with piano, it worked out great!
