Théâtre Gilles-Vigneault

The theater is actually modern and massive! The play I saw was an improvisation, so I cannot comment on it much. It's a pleasant experience to go there tho!

Beautiful space with great accoustic. Just need a proper list of shows and artists (hint: some people in St Jerome are still under 70 years old!)

Only open in summer during festivities.All other representations info are available at the local library ticket counter.

The building has beautiful lighting at night. The welcome staff was very kind and courteous. Now it’s showtime!

Nice clean modern theatre. The access to the restrooms is less then perfect but besides from that, great place and nice show.

Nice theater but lacking a middle aisle... not practical at all!!

This is a beautiful new theatre in St.Jerome. The program includes some theatre (in French), and dance. Many one man shows of Quebec Comedians, some of which are sold out months ahead. Quebec singers songwriters are the next popular shows. Some shows are preceded by a free presentation in the mezzanine. We had a surprise treat at the mezanine by the story-teller, and dance-caller Michel Payer with his musicians, singing traditional Quebecois songs, followed by square-dancing instructed and called by Michel Payer. What a wonderful experience! The main show of a group of musicians who celebrated their twenty years on stage, Les Tireux d'Roches, they were superb! For visitors seek out a show by one of the folklore singing groups, their Tam Di Le Lam rhythm will make you tap your feet, and join in the singing too. The theatre has good access for handicapped people. There is a bar on the mezanine, and an elevator to the mezanine. There are bathrooms, and a parking area behind the building.
