Shaz Afzal | If you asked me to share the most interesting fact about myself, I would tell you that I have lived in 22 homes since I was born. Yes, 22 homes! My father was an officer in the Civil Service and we moved from one place to another with every new posting he was assigned. This was the way of life for me. I learned to adapt to different climates and cultures, it gave me a deep understanding of human relations and interactions. When I got married, I was moving again, now countries and continents. I have lived in all kinds of houses from huge colonial houses to turn-of-the century Victorian homes to tiny one bedroom studio apartments. A new home has ahealing power. Believe me. A new city or a new neighbourhood presents new life choices, new opportunities and new friends. I am as excited as my clients on a home search journey. I completely understand the emotions of my seller clients when they leave a well loved home behind to move to another one. I am familiar with these emotions too well. Yes the Real estate is a lot of number crunching and stats but having an agent who understands the emotional part of it is as imprtant. I love my teas and lattes.
