Even at high tide there is some sand. Of course it's better at mid or low tide. Has changing rooms, outhouses, and a foot washing station.

Mavillette Beach Provincial Park
Beautiful, very vast (especially at low tide), not very busy sandy beach with wonderful, safe and shallow sandy bottom all the way even at low tide. Nice small to medium crashing waves (even more during rising tide). Water is cold but very clean and clear. Shallow pools of warmer water are left on the beach at low tide and are ideal for small children to play in. Beach is so vast and not busy that it is ideal to play beach games like frisbee, or to take long walks or jog.

One of the best beaches in Atlantic Canada. Low tide is a must.

Great beach with sand that is beautiful and soft. This is my favourite beaches to go with my daughter .If your not afraid to get in the water and chase waves you are going to have a ball here.I’d highly recommend you give this beach a visit.

Beautiful! Got there with the tide out and amazing huge beach, sand was so fine and soft on the feet. Unbelievable how much beach was exposed with the tide out. A must see and check out nearby Smugglers Cove

Mavillette Beach Provincial Park
Very nice quiet beach. It is very long and when the tide is out it is super wide. A great place to let my dog run free and playing with a ball. The beach is very clean did not see any garbage. For such a nice beach there was not even 10 people on our two days visiting the beach

Went there right when the fog started rolling in (second photo), but this beach is definitely the best in the area, and lots of people were there despite the fog.The first photo is from the beginning of July and the tide was out - barely anyone was there it was great.
