Little Feet Big Steps Childcare

This place is amazing!!!! I am extremely satisfied with the experience I’ve had so far. When I started looking for a daycare for my one year old I had a bad experience with a previous daycare and when I contacted Little Feet Big Steps they welcomed me and my son with open arms. The owners took the time to give a tour and sat down with me to answer all my questions. I felt the love and commitment they all offer to the children. I didn’t have any doubt that my son wasn’t going to get the care he deserves. I know he is loved and taken well care of here. I was certain that he would have separation anxiety but he adjusted very well. He’s been going there well over a month now and now he smiles at the staff when I drop him off. That makes me so happy. I love this daycare and wouldn’t have him anywhere else. Thank you Little Feet Big Steps!

I absolutely love the care my kids receive here at Little Feet Big Steps. Both of my kids love daycare days, the staff is always super friendly and caring. I enjoy the crafts my kids come home with and seeing my kids progress with their learning while at daycare is a great feeling.

My daughter started with LFBS in October 2022. We have nothing but good experience since she started. My daughter comes back home very well looked after, it has been 5 months since she started going to LFBS full time and we just had our pediatrician appointment and she is growing, gaining weight and developing well. They have a good balance with being compliant with Alberta Health regulations but also not calling parents in every time when a child sneezes, understanding that parents need to work. Teaches send in daily reports and my daughter just shines when she see Gabby in the morning, I don't even get a good bye" from her some days as she is ready to go right in. We had one incident where my daughter fell down (when she was learning to walk so that was happening way more often under my care) and I was notified at work right away that she had a small scratch and it was taken care of

My son loves it here! He has never been in daycare before and adjusted quickly and looks forward to it everyday. The childcare workers are very sweet with him and ensured he had a smooth transition when he started. I am able to communicate with them easily and their safety protocols are great, we are very happy to have chosen such a wonderful place for our son to spend his days.

When I first went in, they made me feel so welcome & I thought it was going to be the best daycare. They told me they’ll keep me updated every hour on my sons first day & we had to call to get the updates because none of them updated us for hours. They told us it was catered lunches & my son said he had toast & noodles every single day. They told me they send crafts & pictures home at the end of the month, he was there for 2 months & I received 1 craft & zero pictures. When we picked him up they would say the same thing every day through the crack of the door, “he had a great day, bye” My son was limping one day after & I asked him what happened & he told me he fell, I asked if he cried because then the teacher would’ve known something happened to him & he said yes. I had to call & ask what happened. They told me over the phone they put an ice pack on it but my son told me that they never did that. He’s four so he would be able to communicate this stuff to me. His foot was bad enough that he was limping for a week, his foot was swollen & bruised & they didn’t write an incident report or even call me to let me know that that had happened. Soooo many red flags! Highly don’t recommend!

Our little guy has only been at Little Feet Big Steps for a couple weeks but already we are so happy with the care he has received. Every staff member we’ve met is so friendly and has shown our boy such patience and love in his adjustment into daycare. Shivani the director has been amazing to deal with since day 1 and sends us daily photos and videos of our baby’s time at daycare.

Our kiddos always have a great time and come home played out! They are growing and learning with such great support from the daycare providers. They are always doing new and fun activities with the kids, and when weather permits, they are outside enjoying the fresh air. The daycare director communicates well with things that need to be worked on with the kids, and she is always extremely supportive! We love getting photos of the kids each and every week. ❤️

Our children have been attending LFBS for about 5 or 6 months now, and prior to that they had never attended a daycare. We were hesitant about sending them to a daycare as opposed to a dayhome, but decided to try out LFBS after hearing so many wonderful reviews, and we are so happy that we made that decision! The care and attention that they receive while they are there is enough to put even the most anxious parent's mind at ease. Both of our children absolutely love going, and we love that they partake in so many activities throughout the day, while also getting a fair amount of time outdoors, which was important to us. They are diligent in hiring only the best childcare providers, and it shows! Not to mention, the director, Shivani, is absolutely amazing and she goes above and beyond to ensure there is proper communciation with parents. You can't put a pricetag on the peace of mind you have knowing that your children are in very capable hands, and LFBS has absolutely provided that peace of mind for our family!

Can't say enough good things about LFBS. As soon as we visited the facility the care they have for the children was obvious. The building is maintained beautifully and clean. The location is tucked away from busy streets and very close to the police station. My daughter always comes home with a smile, and every interaction I've had with staff and management has been respectful and positive. They have put my mind at ease. If you are considering LFBS for childcare give them a visit. You won't be disappointed .
