Baker’s Fries (The Hawk's Nest)
Another delightful breakfast. I came here once before but it was during a Covid lockdown and they did not have all options available. Today I was able to enjoy eggs Benedict, side of Beans and toast. All were very good and the coffee cup kept getting topped up just the way I like it. The staff are friendly and extremely efficient based on how they handled the high school student crowd.

Lots of variety in the menu but I grabbed a cookie to snack on while waiting in the mall. Good place to wait near the drive.test centre. Check the hours first.

Best place for breakfast. They also do have really great kids menu. You can have your mouthful for the price you pay. Cheap and best in town. Give a try once they will never disappoint you.

Been looking forward to coming here for months. I don’t come to town that often and this seemed like a great place to meet an old school chum. I had intended to get the poutine fries but it seemed like too much food for me. I had a big meal the night before. So I got pea meal bacon which is hard to find in the states. Much better than fatty regular bacon. Home fries were the real thing not frozen. Scrambled eggs were good. Thick slices of toast and sweet beans. My only unhappiness was the coffee which was like diner coffee most places. My wife would have liked it but I enjoy a strong cup of Joe. Service was very friendly. Nice atmosphere with a steady stream of customers. Love the historic photos on the wall from Hy Fund Studios.

Friendly staff.Good prices. Clean.Little mobbed when the kids come over from the high school for lunch so plan accordingly.Great breakfast.Good place for a quick burger and fries.

Never been in this cafe before so I walked in looking at the menu and the staff were extremely rude it shocked me so I walked right back out. Seems like it would be a good place prices were good but the staff should not have treated new customers the way they did. That is how you loose business not gain it.
