After three weeks of ordering a 18 cubic foot refrigerator - it still did not arrive. We had been told 7-10 days. The level of customer service was abysmal. We got a refund, but they actually gave us the wrong invoice with someone else name/details ( privacy???) and gave us too much. We went back yet again, and told Adam of his error. We paid the difference, but just now got my full refund ( 5 days later). We asked Adam for an apology, and he ignored us. Hilary ( owner) called me yesterday and said my fridge was in and they would deliver it tomorrow. Seriously - insult to injury. However, she did apologize. Long story short - although this is a local company, and I do buy everything local - give this store a miss and save time, aggravation and headache. GO local - I got my fridge from Faust Home Hardware -within ONE day! Better price than Hensall. Now, I just have to see if Faust's can order me my La Cornue stove.

I would never go to Hensall Appliances. Some time ago I took my electric dryer in to see if they could figure it out while it worked sometimes and not at all other times. I asked them to check it out. When I went to pick it up they stated when they plugged it in it worked so they did nothing. Despite not carrying out any diagnostic they still charged me $50.00.Fred

Needed a fridge rather quickly as the cottage fridge was leaking horribly. Hillary made sure I could get my new fridge asap. The two men that brought, installed, and removed the old fridge were great. Friendly, courteous and very efficient. Hillary was wonderful to deal with from start to finish. Would happily recommend Hensall Appliances.

Great service with very knowledgeable staff (Adam), they sure know their GE appliances and provided a hassle free experience. Their prices were very competitive when compared to other shops in London and area. Always like to support local small businesses especially if it saves me a few bucks.

We are very pleased with the service from Hensall Major Appliances. Our new GE fridge was delivered on time and problem free. The delivery team was polite and took great care to ensure my floors were not damaged. We will definitely purchase our next appliance from Hillary as we strive to deal with local independent stores. No need to buy at big box stores!

We bought a gas range and within a year the appliance gas valve leaked naturaL gas into our home which prompted urgent phone call to the fire department to shut off the natural gas into the home, as well as a natural gas specialist to diagnose the leak from the appliance which cost over $200. There was no sympathy at all from the retailer, they said this happens all the time on their natural gas ranges and charged us over $200 for the replacement of the valve which was just over a year old. I’m now out over 400 dollars for an appliance that’s worth just over 500 and I’m nervous about another gas leak. Would recommend staying far away from this retailer.

I am at a loss by the poor treatment I have received from Hensall appliances my sales person was and is Hilary...On Dec 7th I ordered a washing machine from her...I requested the lowest price one that she had as I am on old age pension....she said the lowest price one was too noisy...so she ordered a GE one for me that was supposed to be in the next week...it must have come in but she never called I called Dec 15th I was told it had come in..but.. Damaged...she said she rush ordered another for me...On Dec 21 I called again..not in...called Dec 22 it was in! and would be delivered and installed ..it was installed and checked ok by the delivery boys....after they left I decided finally I could do laundry..my husband is ill with cancer Hilary knows this.. to my devastation the machine started and just as quickly shut itself off! I tried to get it going again no luck! called Hilary she sent the delivery boys back to check it...they were on the telephone to GE it started working by itself...they left...no sooner had they left and it stopped! I called her again...she would not send me the machine she had in the store.. she did not want to but she did send her tech Josh out to take a look...he tested it...it worked a bit for him then shut down! now it locked the Lid!!!! I called Hilary..she had to wait to talk to her tech...she finally called me back on Dec 22nd saying she would order the part for the lid...Well today is Dec 28th at 4;45 pm I still have no washing machine! She however CASHED MY CHEQUE FOR A DEFECTIVE WASHING MACHINE!
