They're always always super super friendly and extra helpful. I went for one thing last time for my cat Roxy. And then they saw a little infection and I could not afford the anti biotic injection and they ended up giving it to me for free. Amazing service. Very knowledgeable. Thank you

While I’m not a client of this vet, I did discover they have the best price on my cats food by far. While they don’t carry it in the size bag I wanted, they offered to order it in, at no extra charge, and then they called me when it arrived the next day. They were very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Thank you for a great customer service experience, I’ll be back when it’s time for a new bag.

We have been fortunate to have the Dr. Lizotte and the staff at Elmwood Veterinary clinic support us in keeping our dog family in optimal health for more than a decade.... providing annual check-ups, recommendations and guidance on a variety of health and age-related issues. We are happy to report in their advancing years (13 - 10 - 8 yrs) they continue to live healthy and active lives.... The service has been consistently excellent, flexible and timely, and we appreciate the appointment reminders with a family the recommendations / suggestions have been practical and economical. The staff approach is open and welcoming. Our dogs respond in a calm, quiet manner to the staff, without any sign of nervousness that they are anticipating a negative experience.

Recently an Elmwood vet suggested we start Librela injections Standard Poodle’s rear leg joint weakness. After considering this treatment I called to make an appointment to start. The first monthly injection was administered by a tech. No conversation, no what to expect, potential side effects, etc. My dog developed a skin irritation after the first injection. I mentioned this to the tech when we went for the 2nd injection and was blown off. Today I called to ask about this again and inquire as to what might might be done to alleviate the itching. The receptionist told me she would ask a vet and call me back. She did call back to say the vet did not think this could be attributed to Librela. Dr. Google and any other research anyone with an internet connection might do indicate skin irritation is a common side effect of this medication. I’m not sure what to think but I am seriously unimpressed with their cavalier, uncaring approach. I’ll be looking elsewhere for my animals’ vet care.

I've been bringing my pitbull mix, Dallas, there ever since I got him a year ago. I won't bring him anywhere else. They are very kind and gentle with him and always seem genuinely happy to see him. Also, they are very good about answering any questions I have and I know my boy is in great hands

I love elmwood vet they are always really friendly and nice to my baby girl and my kitties I have been going to this vet since I was 4 with my 1st puppy I am 32 now and still going they have different vets but everyone of them has been amazing

We moved to the area and have been bringing our dogs to Elmwood for about a year. Recently we came into your office to put down our beloved old girl, Honey. A heartbreaking event, which was made worse by your staff and we so regret trusting you to take care of our precious dog in her final moments. The techs did not handle our dog with competence or compassion, their giggly, upbeat demeanor was at odds with the situation and the information they provided regarding what to expect, was incorrect. Our dog did not become more sedated, calm or relieved of pain after her initial shot as promised. Instead she became distressed and freaked out, especially when placed in a choke hold while the techs bumbled their way through a painful IV placement. In big ways and little ways (like pouring cold alcohol on my dogs legs instead of using a gauze pad or better yet, skipping the alcohol all together) your staff demonstrated a lack of caring and consideration. The vet who gave the final injection also was lacking in compassion, she was completely out of touch.We expected the vet to simply listen to the dogs heart and say softly ”she’s gone” or something like that. This vet said loudlyYup

I found Dr Robinson very professional and showed a real caring concern for our GSD. She took the time to listen and answered questions honestly. She was very transparent in her diagnosis and costs involved. When my pup seemed to get worse she moved up appointments to see her right away. She was very methodical in any tests needed, not going to the most expensive right away. Very pleased with our visit.

Marlee is a nervous dog, the clinic does a great job of accommodating her by making sure a room is ready prior to us bringing Marlee into the clinic so she doesn't have to stay in the lobby. Vet's are very personable and answers all questions! Recommend for sure.
