Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Regina East Gate

Used to be a decent place when first opened and a few years after.My past couple of stays have been far from any type of acceptable standard.- digital key did not work for the 3 days I was there. Front desk was not at all helpful.- room smelled like old laundry. One of the best parts of that place was a clean fresh smelling room after a long day of driving and business meetings.- grease from others hair in the headboard.- even just pulling in to the lot the sign is all tattered and weathered.- for gods sake fix that dang 2 inch drop on the ingress and egress of the main doors! I jar my back every-time!This all saddens me as unused to call that place my second home.I really hope they turn it around ! Or Paris gets word on how it is being run!!!

Easy to get to, right on the edge of town. Room was clean, as was the entire building- property was well lit and good grass and gardening. Breakfast was free (good!), small selection (meh), tasty (yes!).

We were staying here for one night for a day surgery. One of the two beds seemed to have urine on it. Or at least that's what it smelled like. It was so late by the time we noticed and we had to be up early that we both ended up sleeping in the same bed. Room was clean otherwise. The pool area was closed for renovations which was ok since we didn't plan on using it but there was no notice prior to booking to inform us which is annoying.

Rooms and locations are what you'd expect for this grade hotel. It's close to a major road and the rooms are large/clean. I checked in on my phone and used a digital key so didn't end up speaking to any staff. Hotel has a nice open breakfast area. I didn't eat much but the selection was good and appeared to be enjoyed by all. Really, my only nit is some worn out carpets around the elevators and a few nicks in the wooden furniture in my room.

Rooms not properly maintained. The washroom faucet was not fastened to the sink, mini fridge temperature nob was broken, ice maker was not working for the whole stay (four days). The carpet is also overused in the main hallways also becoming a to hazard. I will not stay here again. Better places to stay in Regina.

My hubby surprised me by booking this trip to Regina for my birthday. We’re from Winnipeg and we had Arby’s close a few years ago so he wanted to take me to get some for my birthday. This hotel was advertised at a great price, pool looked great. Overall aesthetically it appealed to us. When we got here, however, we found out the pool was closed for renovations. No where was it advertised on their site that it was closed. No one at the front desk told us. Had to see the sign on the door. I just saw a comment on here from 5 months ago that the pool was closed then as well for same reasons. If it’s closed that long then it should be noted at the time of booking.We were pretty bummed out as that’s one of the things we look forward to most. Especially in winter.The water pressure on the shower was horrendous. Non existent… I barely got the soap out of my hair.And I know this specific complaint is a people issue but wow… we have never stayed in a hotel where it was sooooo bloody loud before. Right until 12am and first thing in the morning.Last complaint… the air conditioning in the room sounds like your on a jet plain and makes loud ticking noises.Needles to say we won’t we be staying here again.

Horrible hotel. Dirty, filty, dusty rooms. Bathroom dirty and broken shower head. Floors didnt look like they have been vaccumed in weeks throughout whole hotel. Staff not very helpful or friendly. Almost knocked my kid over with a cart and shop vac. No apologies or acknowledgement. Seemed annoyed when I mentioned concerns. Breakfast was like dog food. Loud, banging all night and cant say I enjoyed the fire alarm going off at 630am. When asked about it was told it was a minor problem". I dont think the idea of a hotel burning down a minor problem.... I should have trusted all other bad reviews"
