Puget Sound Doodles LLC

I very recently got a 4 1/2 month old mini-Bernedoodle from Puget Sound Doodles. Kathy was very helpful with my questions before we ever picked him up. He has been a bundle of joy (and energy!), and I am so grateful I got him. He has been to the Vet and deemed very healthy. He does have an inguinal hernia and undescended testicle which will be corrected when he gets neutered.

We had been looking for a bernedoodle, but I wanted a pup out of the puppy stage, to be certain of size and coat type. How lucky we were to see a year old boy, (a leftover fellow) under 30 lbs. listed on their website! He has a wonderful personality, plays well with other dogs and people, and loves life. Out of curiosity, we had his DNA tested. Our vet recommended Wisdom, as they test for over 200 genetic issues, and can be useful for future diagnosis, and he had 0 genetic markers for any of the diseases or issues. Clearly, Kathy, the breeder, knew her business well. Her daughter, Alex has been very helpful with suggestions whenever we ran into problems. She even boarded him for several days when my spouse had to go a distance for surgery shortly after we adopted him. It was a relief both to see how excited he was to see her again, ànd to know he was being well cared for. If all their pups are like our guy, you can be assured they'll be terrific!

We adopted our Poppy in a matter of days. The process was a bit confusing to understand on how it worked purchasing her directly from the site unseen. I understand that makes people nervous. We were looking to adopt a puppy that needed to be rehomed but that fell through so I contacted PSD Monday morning, spoke with Ms Kathy that evening for clarification on how the purchasing process went and by that night Poppy had been purchased.We picked up Poppy 3 days later on Thursday. Scheduling pick-up was probably the only downfall/issue I had with PSD. We live over 3 hours away and were up north for a medical appointment. I explained my daughter would be off oxygen and the earlier the better plus I had work as well. The night before we were asked to push an hour back. I relented, my husband wasn't thrilled but my daughter and I wanted our dog lol. The property is beautiful, the drive was a bit hard on my daughters lungs but she made it. Ms Kathy apologized for not being sensitive as she thought I was speaking of an older child not a baby. I appreciated the apology and it made me feel better. I did miss a work meeting but my daughter was able to get on oxygen as soon as we got home and Poppy is so sweet, gentle and calm. A bouncy pup outdoors for sure and we are all in love. I'm glad we made the purchase.

We had only adopted older dogs and were eager to have the puppy experience. We were amazed by the knowledge and care we received from PSD. Kathy was a delight. So much love for their pups. That was important to us. They may disappoint some customers, but that's only because they make their pups top priority. We got litter mates and they are doing very well. We are hoping to visit the farm this spring.

We got our new best friend from Kathy and Alex and had the best experience. They take every effort to ensure the best environment and head start for all of their puppies as well as giving back to the community. The puppies we visited were clean, happy, healthy, and full of puppy energy. We ultimately spent about an hour getting to know the dogs and talking with the family. They truly care about each of their dogs and want to see them homed with the right people. Additionally, they have their facilities and dogs inspected regularly, and associate with organizations that demand conscientious practices (all of which ensures that the dogs are happy and healthy!).Our new dog came home with us that afternoon and was instantly part of our family. He had a great jump on crate training, and is playful, friendly, and engaged in exploring his new home.Working with Puget Sound Doodles (LLC) was a wonderful experience. I just adopted a Mini Bernadoodle from Puget Sound Doodles and I’ve never been more in love! She is the sweetest most loving smart puppy! I’ve been around a lot of puppies and none have been as socialized and sweet as the puppies I have seen from PSD.Kathy and Alex are excellent people to work with and it really comes through how much they love their puppies. I wouldn’t get a puppy from anywhere else! They were able to answer every question I had and even gave me a little gift bag with some food and a toy and blanket to help make the transition for my little pup easier.I definitely recommend anybody who is looking for a puppy to reach out to Puget Sound Doodles! You will not be disappointed and you will end up with an amazing companion who will want nothing more than to love you and make you happy!

We are 100% thrilled with the mini bernedoodle puppy we selected from Kathy and Alexandra. She is adorable and just as described - calm and relaxed inside and playful and bouncy outside. She has been affectionate and gently playful with our two young children, and has also taken to our three established indoor cats and our outside goats extremely well. She has not barked a single time and she also loves her crate, which makes it easy when we need to be apart for short periods. She is unfurnished (smooth face more like a Bernese than a poodle) and so I worried she might shed. When we bathed her, I saw about 5 hairs in the tub and none on the towels. We plan to train her as an animal-assisted therapy dog to help with a therapy practice and, just as described, she seems to have an ideal temperament for that role. She is the perfect dog for us! We love her so much and we are so grateful to Puget Sound Doodles! Thank you, Kathy and Alexandra!

The owners of Puget Sound Doodles were awesome. We spent a lot of time in their home as we got to know our new puppy so the transition was as easy for her as possible. They have supplies that can be purchased if you have forgotten anything and send you off with a welcome gift bag for your new family member. I would recommend them to anyone looking a bernedoodle the five hour drive from Portland was worth it!

We adopted the most adorable mini Berniedoodle about three weeks ago and I have to say, I could not have been happier with the entire process, start to finish. We had an amazing experience getting our little Poochki (micro-mini Bernedoodle) from Kathy and Alex. They were very professional and a pleasure to interact with. Their beautiful facility nestled in the Sedro valley is a great location that lends itself to happy little puppies.
