Dropped by about 10 days ago to get a long chain repaired, and intake was very smooth! I bought a locket for my daughter as a gift to welcome her to young adulthood. It was purchased from another jeweller and the clasp stopped working the third time she wore it.It took a while before we had time to see about getting it fixed, and by then I was sure we were well outside the time limit for such things (and to be frank, I hadn't been especially impressed with that jeweller anyway).Today we stopped by Fort Richmond Jewellers to see if they could help. The man at the counter (sadly I don't know his name) looked at the locket, took it into the back and made some kind of adjustment, and returned with it fully functioning.He then told us there was no charge. This kind of generosity and service seems rare in this day and age. The business is second generation, locally owned, and it shows.I glanced briefly at the stock and as others have said - it looked good and the prices seemed excellent. We will definitely be back again.And, my daughter is thrilled to have her locket back. Thank you!

I have been a patron for a number of years. He always is helpful and honest and never tries to sell stuff that you don't want. Also, I have gotten all the special batteries that I have needed for kids toys etc from him and he did a great job on my mother's watch. I never thought it could be fixed. Thanks very much.
