It was my first time here and I was totally impressed! The desserts are really gourmet. I had the orange chocolate brownie and it was melt in your mouth delicious and so flavorful!

Such an aesthetic and modern place! They are also connected to the bar next door.I got a lot of pastries to try, and some of them were delicious- I liked the cookie, muffin, and the scone.I would say the tart and gem cake was the most disappointing. The taste was pretty bland and simply not the most tasty for me.I would come again and dine in, also as the study spot!

Amazing vegan and gluten free bakery and cafe. They offer different vegan and gluten free baked goods and as well as drinks.Their cashew-based cheesecakes are very good. It's extremely sweet but not too sweet. I have ordered two cheesecakes for family events and they have always been a big hit.It's more expensive than your regular bakery but it's worth it every now and then.The staff is knowledgeable, polite and respectful.Good atmosphere on in the cafe itself.Would recommend.

Pastel & Coco is hands-down my favorite bakery ever! They really showcase that vegan food does not equal boring food. There's always a wide selection of sweet and savory items, including many seasonal desserts. My go-to is the tiramisu (original or matcha-flavored). The staff are super friendly, the vibe and ambiance is very chill and modern. They're located right next to Astoria, an amazing vegan restaurant. You must check out this place if you're in Ottawa/Gatineau!Update spring 2023: They now offer vegan soft serve (ice cream and sorbet) in waffle cones or affogato with matcha/espresso! There are 2 daily rotating flavors.

Good location, better park on the public parking a block away.Convenient long hours.Polite and prompt service.Nice selection. Cooking traditional things without dairy and animal fats, and sometimes gluten ( clearly labeled) is a big challenge. Thus, if you are new: grab multiple different products: some of them are amazing, some you might find too different to your liking. Again, I do appreciate even the attempt, the ambition to recreate traditional recipes as close as possible while offering people with the diet restrictions so many options. Eventually you'll settle on something you like the most. It has options to sit down, and it has a variety of things to go.Some more substantial meals like sandwiches are available too.It would be nice to see labels for soy content too, maybe soon, for now, you have to ask whether there is soy in particular product.Check a bunch of sloppy pictures below to see the prices and selection, mind you they were taken in the late evening before closure, thus they are not as pretty and usually selection is larger. I recommend it for people with diet restrictions who have sweet tooth.

Great selection of vegan cakes, pastries and sandwiches, many of which are also gluten free. We had an almond croissant and banana bread and both were delicious. We loved the coffee here too! Highly recommend.

It is gluten free and it has different good cakes. I love the tea. Also, the decoration. Although,It is over price I know is for the gluten free but could be improve the price.

Wow! Delectable and decadent treats, sandwiches to-go, summer drinks, cookies, squares, muffins, scones, quiche, pizza pockets, mousse, pies, macarons - all vegan! The big chocolate-chip cookie and the s’mores blondie square were scrumptious. (Some gluten-free items.) Bilingual staff, pleasant service. ...Now I've also had a pistachio macaron (mmm), a Twix bar (yum) and the vegan tiramisu (wonderful!). Good sandwiches - bbq jackfruit, BLT tempeh, etc.(Parking usually available along rue Leduc.)
